GRHBCH CH Cottonmouth's Ragin' Cajun Ruger

Ruger is a 15 in chocolate redtick male that loves to drive a rabbit! Just like his Daddy, he shoots out of a check like he was shot out of a cannon, this is one of the many traits Ruger is producing into his pups. Ruger also is throwing tons of hunt, good run to catch speed, and brains to control it. When he barks the race is on and if the dogs aint with him he will leave them. Not only is Ruger used for the trials, he is a hunting dog first and foremost. He has had plenty of rabbits shot over him and he has caught plenty of rabbits himself. I have got alot of compliments on Ruger's hunt and looks and in my opinion he definitely deserves to be considered a stud. He is a UKC Hunting Beagle Champion and UKC Show Champion. But his journey of proving himself is not over either, he is still going to Grand in UKC, Champion him in LP, and try his hand in PKC and AKC if I can get him there. He is a tough one that I know can accomplish all of this. I debated to add him on here yet until he championed in another registry but I think he has too much to offer the beagle world to hold back. Ruger is AKC, UKC, and NKC registered (Soon will be PKC) and DNA profiled in all of them. Will be askin $150 and negative brucellosis test. Currently have 6 TOP NOTCH females booked for Ruger this year. I dont think I am going to take anymore this year. He should have some TOP NOTCH hounds out of him for Trial years 2015-16. Cant wait to see what these pups can do!

Thanks Guys! It kills me knowing hes done though! He was such a fun hound to hunt, one of the easiest dogs to handle and he was very very consistent. I am breeding him to top quality females right now and I hope his offspring will have his determination, foot, hunt, and consistency! I will still push Ruger at the bigger hunts! And JB I think the pups out of your gyp is gonna be some tuff dogs!!!!

Got a nice female coming down to breed to Ruger next weekend. she is close to championing in ARHA LP, she has "3" 2nd places on her and only lacks her first to be a champion. This is a son of Junie bred to a granddaughter of Junie. Should be a mixture of color in this cross. She has littermates that are bluetick, redtick, tri-color, and lemon. If you like northway blood, its quite a bit in this cross. Some of you may have ran against Timmy Jenkins Gracie dog, she was tough as nails! The female getting bred to Ruger is her littermate sister. In the picture below from left to right she is the 3rd dog, she is tri-color with heavy ticking on her legs and chest.
