Jay, I called Matt and he said to tell you thanks and he apperciated you taking us out. He said he is hooked on coon hunting. The pictures look great as well. I think if the weather holds out we are going to start getting Dinger out. I think you and the big dummy has something going on.....

Jay, I had a call from Erika she is fired up her female pup is coming on treeing coons by herself. I'm looking forward to getting Dinger going. I glad she is having fun. I haven't spoke to Dave or Curt to see how theres are doing. If I don't talk to you have a Merry Christmas.

Jay how do you change the topic line to Gr. Nt. Ch. on the topic line for Slinger. It currently shows Nt. Ch. a guy from Ohio pointed it out when he called me yesterday.

Highly doubtful, wife has surgery on tuesday and my nephew and brother in law from Minnesota are coming down thrusday, so my chances are very slim

Slinger had 150 Purina Nite Hunt points and 20 Purina Show points for 2011. Only 1 other dog had a higher combined total points and that was the Bluetick "Talker" male that won both categories of the breed (that's pretty impressive if you ask me!)

A 2nd place CW and a Champion Male win (bench) at Amherst,Wi. RQE
2 back to back CW's at the Wisconsin State Championships and another Champion Male win (bench) at Hebron,Wi.

Besides the UKC Quarter finals, these were the only other Purina events Slinger was entered in.

Slinger is a nice sounding dog. I didn't see any snow on the ground.

Leroy, the forestry service is clearing out 144,000 acres of underbrush in Blackwater. Talking about nice walks. It's kind of close to what you hunt in now.
