As for the stinking gators..

They will be out soon looking for a meal, I have seen them on days like today when it's 58 degrees.. I hate them with a passion..it takes the fun out of a good nights hunt worrying about your dog. First drop last night queen went 680 yrds to tree the first coon, straight down the side of the river.. ( which is full of gators) I told myself it's 42 degrees surely they won't be out.. I was sweating bullets the whole time.. When an 11'4 gator grabs your dog right in front of you in 50 degree weather, it kinda sticks with you for life. I'm just as much of a predator as they are.. No what I'm sayin..!

This is what a big gator can do in 1 second, I did yell freeze 5 times.. In a special language that even a big lizard could understand.. I yelled pow pow , bang.. Bang.. Bang..and he froze.. But on a serious note.. This is why I dislike these things.. My pup and I were very lucky that night.. ! Travis.. I'm not going to make claims that this pup is the next world champion but I was pleased to see a 4 month old pup out of turkeys first litter react to his first coon encounter. He's the dark pup in the video.

Turkey hadn't been out in 45 nights because I've been crippled up. Took him out last night and he didn't miss a step. Treed a couple in 2 different drops.
