Bond, I guess that you have to have some flat land to grow corn. I thought that you told me once that you didn't need "permission" to hunt. Jason, you are hunting harder on your "vacation" than you did before. I went last night and dropped and lost my keys before I ever turned a dog loose. I hunted/looked for an hour before I called my wife to come and get me at 11:30. She wasn't very happy. I found them just as she pulled up. I am going today to get a duplicate made.

The first week was a little rough gettin Addy in to shape but I think its all squared away now. Like I said these red dogs are great and a blast to hunt.Id like to thank everyone who has a part in making this bloodline what it is you guys breed great hounds.Thanks Again Buck for trusting a young man u didnt know with your hounds

Bond, the first thing that I did was empty out all of my pockets and even checked my boots/chaps. I could not believe that it costs $60 to get a duplicate key made now. This time of year, I don't have that many pockets. I took Bucky and his mom last night. They struck and trailed about 200 yds and split up. Bucky went left and his mom went right. Bucky went another 200 yds and came treed with a coon all by himself. I was very proud of him. He is doing a lot better than his namesake now.

I sold "Wendall" to a very nice older gentleman from Alabama a couple of weeks ago. I figured that he would make him a good "pet". He called me early this morning to tell me that he had him trailing a drag and treeing it already. He said that he was going to put out some feeder buckets in a couple of weeks to get him going on. Now "Wendall" is only 3 1/2 mos old. I guess that you just never can tell about people or pups.

Well looks like Beamer will be visiting the mountain for a month. JC is getting his buddy back. That way I can focus on getting the other pack in shape and ready for the trip up north.

My favorite time of year... heat, bugs, and mountains. As far as Autumn Oaks I'll need to look at my schedule at work I know I've got training in August. Look out the FAT MAN IS BACK IN ACTION PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES.

My buddy in Vermont will have us up for a hunting trip we just need to let it cool down a bit and see what the hunting license cost..
I wonder if porky pines are out and about when it get's cold?

The porkys are a little less active when it cools off!!We can avoid them to I just dont because you eventually run in to them its easier to get it out of the way!!
Kill Season opens oct 1 we will have cow corn nuts and apples like crazy then : ) I have orchards and cornfields to run and plenty of oak and beech covered mountains. Dont need a MA hunting license as long as whoever pulls the trigger has one dont need it to run hounds.VT license is needed to run in VT a Small Game License Is $50.
Im looking forward to it cant wait!!!!

Oh my goodness, backing up already. And I was starting to get excited about having you back. I guess that it will be baby steps at first. Maybe we will see some pictures tomorrow morning. P Mike has been doing some training but Jason is at the beach all week.

Cow Corn is ready to get cut here end of sep beginning of oct they hit it hard before they cut and real heavy for a few weeks after they cut.

Sweet corn is starting to get hit hard now tuff to find spots to run not close to main rds.

Orchards are my favorite running its a blast and its a good way for pups to learn how to tree layups the trees are so short usually its easy for em.

Theres always mountains with nut bearing trees to hunt.

No confusion now

The dog's were nice to me tonight Bud and Frog put one up 15 mins. Not bad walking second drop the dog's were hot and no air moving. Beat around and could not do anything with it. Will head out again Thursday and I did get a few pictures. I'll post them when I go back to work on Thursday

Oh my goodness Bud is so dark, you can barely see him. It looks like your "secret weapon" won't be a secret much longer. I kept waiting for the heat index to go down here last night but at 11 pm the heat index was 84 so I never got to go. Maybe P Mike will take Sissy along with y'all tonight.

Is a nice little tree dawg we will see what happens tonight. Buds litter mate sister will get to go tonight. She has never been hunting and I bet she will be a stand on the tree dog. More pictures coming tomorrow, sorry guys when I'm a hunting I take pictures.

Was looking at the cross that Mr Biggest made with Kate being the female in all of the third generation crosses, I was wondering if there is a Ttop breeding like this with Rabble 4 times in the third generation. Figured oneof the cartel would know. Thanks

Got in to two gangs of kittens tonight in the same hollow Storm trialed located trailed tried to tree trail some more not really going anywhere its was kinda of ugly but fun she was a struggling but she finally treed but she sure wasn't convinced she had anything it was mighty week but she had a sow and two kittens as I was a looking the tree over a few tree's over sat a sow and.three kittens
