LOOK at the intelligence! These are SMART, INTENSE hounds and SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'm telling you...if there ever came a time one came out kinda handicapped from some injury and needed a nonhunting home... I'd wanna drive to get one... THen again in an ideal world, I'd have tons of money, be able to travel with Bob to hunting land...and we'd own a real live HUNTING one...

I did get to talk to Tom yesterday

I had called and left a message earlier in the day. Later in the afternoon I got a call from Char and said that Tom was there and would put him on. I got to carry the conversation(lol), but it was good to hear Tom chuckle at some of my comments. She told me that they had just got back from therapy. She says that he is able to walk on his own and his speech is the main thing holding him down. She expressed appreciation with all the thoughts and prayers from him coondog family.
