Thanks Brent and Dave for getting these two together.Hopefully we get a couple pups on the ground.Looking forward to raising a female for myself.There is a couple hard hunters waiting to get one of these pups.I'll stay in touch.

A few acres behind the house gets wore out with dogs & coon....then as they tree easy ones with dogs then we move up to harder tracks & trying to tree by themselves.Mostly daytime training here with newbys..then we move into some close woodlots that we can run coon wild & released & feeder coon..if a dog can not tree an easy coon they will never tree a hard one & we are wasting our time & your money..the whole time point is taken to get a successful repetition pattern to build their confidence...moving from woods to woods from tree to tree...coon to coon...lots of coon lots of chances & lots of success...then you move to big woods with a good dog..but always hunt some by them selves to get a dog to tree its own....over & over & over...dogs learn in patterns...some claim to have thinking dogs but science proves that to be untrue.Dogs learn from doing things over & over...you cant train most dogs to ..sit...1 time...they have to learn over several lessons...1 thing at a time or they will be confused or set back,patience to do it over & over till they get it then move on is rare..why most give up...good coaches will drill you over & over till it is almost natural or instinctive.

ps I tried pming you I have a started grandson of pepper & biggerts stuff on the other...I dont like selling dogs like others on here but looking for a part owner to hunt him this kill season title him

I wrestled these GrNtCh Tree Burning Moses pups down & pup collars to identify each as they are very much similar in everything...wow is that 3 shots of pepper...I would love to see more of this kind of crosses in the red breed.

Roger...I have seen a ton of young red dogs through the yrs but I havent seen em all by any means...but there are some lines I couldnt get the good ones that some seemed to get? after several tries...I looked elsewhere...why I think a bunch of people have gave up on red dogs...too soon as they didnt look at more than a line or 2....Wont hunt...meaner than get out...no mouth...last strike wont tree...hot only...boo hoo in...but the good news is there are several dogs & lines that I think you are going to have a whole lot better chance of ending up with a dog that can compete at a higher level than most....more of a chance at getting one that has it in between the ears...born with the traits...this is one of the TOP bred dogs out of TOP crosses ever made that has won BIG more than once in his life & is throwing that in the pups...great crosses have the ability to give the "goods" to the next generation or 2 or 3 or..

It improves your odds of getting the good one....

how many grnt studs alive have won red days...and how many have done it gen after gen.

Ole John talked about lining up these dogs..

As in how many was 1 man responsible for breeding & making himself...from the crosses to the wins...sorta...I mean there is always team work involved in any ones success.

A familiar list of names,eh? I would much rather have the quality than those chasing the quantity.Seems the closer you get to the quality lines the closer you get to dogs that can win a larger levels,quantity seems to not have the juice for the big races.
