Hunt

I went hunting with Paul&Tim on Tuesday night. We ended up with a dozer pile,one field tile,and four trees. With those two there is neaver a dull moment.Boys we have to do it again soon. God is good....Doug

Won Opposite Sex overall winner
Won my cast Sat night but not enough points for the win
Had a good time and met some really nice people and hunted with and seen some nice Blues. A big THANK YOU to the Colombus Il club for their efforts...........Tim

The Mad Dogs did a good job at the BBOA Zone I Hunt in Columbus, Il, Jake Scott's Big Casino dog won 1st both nights (15 mos old, Dual Grand Tonto x GR CH NT CH 911)

The Cowboy dog won his cast on Sat night (no win) and Best Overall Male in the show, may take up bench showing, it's easier on an old man..........Tim

Just got off the phone with Brian Pierson and he informed me that he just bought Ranger. Ranger is a top hound that won by getting off by himself and having the coon. Brian purchased Astro last month, Ranger and Astro will be at stud in kingsville, Mo.............Tim

Brian has a couple females already lined up to breed to Ranger. From what I have heard the pups already sired by Ranger are really turning the crank. He is bred to reproduce............Tim

Thanks for the heads up. I changed that on the previous post. I talked to Brian, and he got ole Ranger bought! Nice to have him back in that part of the country. I am sure many will utilize him as a stud dog. Did a hang up with the Pistol Annie female ( ranger x Jude), she treed her butt off! Looking forward to taking her to the timber. She will be a nice tree dog for sure. And LOUD!! Her and Bingo will be a team for a lil while, when shes ready out to single out, I may send her to Shawns? Paul mentioned coming for a hunt soon, maybe he will get to see her go. As I mentioned before, she will be the first cross I make on Bingo, but I am already convinced that crossing her to Astro would be a good cross as well. Thanks for your time, comments and advice. A credit to Turk

A stud dog is one that can produce hounds that flat out tree coons, ole Turk has proven to be just that, he want be around much longer, I believe he is 10 now and his better years I'm sure have come and gone as far as health is concerned , he has had winners pop up fairly regular, when he is gone we will have lost a huge access to our breed....Gerald
