Hunt

Had a good hunt with Doug and Froggy last night. Cowboy struck in at 450 yrds to the west and Froggy struck at 700 yrds to the North, Cowboy got treed at 550 yrds west and Froggy got treed 850 yrds North. I really like the independence in these dogs, when they tree you don't have to run to the tree and you will usually see the meat.............Tim

Paul and Ata-Girl, Earl Howell and Boomer,and I had Cowboy hunted together at Fayette Friday night. Paul won the cast with 225+ and I had 200+, Cowboy had 3rd strike and 1st tree on one that we found the coon after the 10 min, that would have been enough for the win. There is always another hunt next weekend............Tim

Prarie Home Hunt

Went to Prarie Home's Hunt last night, drew out with a nice Walker, Brian Pierson with Astro and I had Cowboy. Ole Astro made it look easy, DEEP and ALONE with The Meat twice! These guys that are talking about "Deep and Alone" need to take a hunt with Astro.

Got a call from Jim Combs yesterday as I was driving to the State Fair to pitch horseshoes. Jimmy said that his female from Wendy x Turk won Queen of the BBCHA Hunt in Scranton, Ks, I believe he said that she won 2nd place. first night in the woods

Took the Pistol Annie female ( RangerxHeyJude ) out last night for the first time. Took her a minute to figure out what she was doing, but when she hit a track, she did a great job. Treed with the meat! Not bad for a female that has NO experience at all. I'll call ya later and tell ya about it. BTW......LOUD! I'm tickled to death. LOL............

MAD DOG JOHN II PUP'S

Well Tim Im not real sure yet if Sue took but as soon as I know for sure that she did I will be taking a $50 deposite on these pup and then the $150 due upon pick up now I do plan on making the trip to your bunkhouse hunt this year and will be able to deliver pups there if need be so $200 for a chance at a good bred pup that will be performanced and should have all the right tool's to make a really nice hound thanks Richard

Thanks Lance, I know of two that have 1st places on them and one that has 2 2nd places and several that just have not been to town yet. These are from John II, the Ranger, Astro and Smoke pups (from this part of the country) should be showing up at the hunts next year.........Tim
