Congrats Richard, I think your female is the 1st one to finish to GRNITE. Their are 2 others that have 3 or 4 wins toward GRNITE. Chief had around 65 pups on the ground when a bought him from Mackie JR. He has close to 200 pups on the ground now. Most these pups are around one year old. A lot of the pups have went to pleasure hunters. My hope that the ones that turn out to be good ones, will find their way to comp. hunters. He is also throwing large litters. Average is 10 to 15 pups per litter. Good luck with all your hounds. Dave

I have 2 male pups out of chief and juice.. they are about 7-8 months old ( don't have papers in front of me). One of them is treeing a drag coon nicely ( haven't fooled with them much, been hot, but he took to it naturally, treeing the first drag I laid down for him-using fresh dead coon)

The other one is still all puppy (although his feet are bigger than any dogs I've ever had- I think he's gonna be BIG- all feet/leggy and slim)

Pups are 7 weeks old on Friday 8/9 . I had a female that was not picked at the house. Nice female can send pictures by cell ph.

Chief turned 7 this summer. Chief still hunts and acts like he is 3. Anyone that knows me, knows that the door swings in and out pretty fast at my Kennel. Chief will be at my Kennel for the rest of his Life. nuff said.

Jewell is on Day #4 of her cycle. Looking for something that will match up well.

i already know what kind of tree dogs cheif is producing. that all blue female out of chief x jade is a maniac on the wood. HARD HARD HARD chop.

Chief pup

Nick, give me a call. I sold the pup out of Sky. I think he was going to make a good one. At 7 months old he was treeing hard, and could push a track. Last I heard he was doing good. Give Mackie a call and ask him about the pup he has. Your more than welcome to come hunt with Chief. Iam also putting Chief back in PKC SS program again this year. hunt

I had a guy come over and hunt with me last night. He didn't bring a dog, said he would handle one of mine. We took Chief and Tiffin River Bubba. I didn't except a great hunt. The moon was full and it was clear. 1st turn out we cut into a corn field, Bubba broke out of the corn and crossed a small Alfa field and struck on the edge of the woods. Chief went threw the corn and struck in the woods at the end about 500 yards in. Bubba took his track about 450 yards north and treed. Chief took his track 750 yards south then hooked back north about 200 yards and treed. Both dogs treed at about the same time. We went to Bubba, and he had the coon on the outside in a small hemlock. Then we went to Chief and he had his coon treed on a small ash tree. good split a nice job by both dogs. 2nd dump we dumped into another corn field. Chief struck, then bubba. They ran it out of the corn and Chief treed in the woods about 800 yards in. we started that way, stopped to see if we could hear Bubba ,and he had covered Chief. They had that one on the out side on a small pine tree. 3rd dump we cut into another big corn field. Chief opened twice at the other end of the corn and fell treed. Bubba opened in the middle of the corn field after Chief had treed and was trailing towards Chief. Chief was treed about 900 yards in. and I new we could get closer from the other road. We drove around and could here both dogs treed together. They had the coon on the out side on a big cherry tree. We called it a night. 4 trees 4 coon on the outside. Not at all what I thought the night would be. About the only time we had to turn our lights on, was when you were looking for the coon, and it took use about 30 seconds to find the coon on all the trees. Sure wish all the hunts went like this one. take care Dave

Ive chosen my stud, and i'm going to breed jewell to GRNITECH PKC CH MANN'S WILD N BLUE CHIEF. Chief and Jewell will match up well together and produce some nice well balanced pups with a pedigree to boot.

Jewell will be bred to Chief this weekend(09-14-2014)

Wont take any deposits till pups are born and i know how many we are working with.

hunted Chief and Bubba one drop. Bubba struck right handed Chief struck left. Bubba treed about 450 yards in went to him. on my way I could her Chief treed. Bubba had the coon on a small pine tree. Chief was 700 yards to the west . Went to Chief and he was treed on a cherry tree with the coon. nice job by both dogs. called it a night.

dave that blue male i bought off of you a few years ago is doing pretty good right now for a kid down on the NY/PA border

This past weekend he cleaned house.

1st place - Line and Tree in Champions Water Race
1st Place- Line and Tree in Registered Field Trial
Best in Class on Bench
2nd Place- Nite Hunt with 137.50+

He made Water Champion with three first place wins.

Looks like a 4way Dual Grand is in the making off of ol' Amos.

He put it on a couple Gr. Nt.'s last week... Fell treed on one coon that the other dogs did not know was in the woods....Hard , hard tree dog with lay up ability..He is going to make a good one...

Glad he is doing well. That seamed to be a good cross. I have had good reports out of pups from that cross. Peaches is going to be in heat soon, and I plan on that cross again. Have you been hunting your male by himself much? take care Dave

hunted Chief and a nice little walker female that I own. Walker had 1st and 1st on 1st tree with coon seen. Chief had 1st and 1st on 2nd tree with coon seen. I have hunted the two together a few times, and boy do they try to out do each other on the wood. I have had a couple of guys go with them, and like myself, they laugh at the two hounds trying to out do each other on the wood.

NY kill season opens 10/25. I have a couple of young dogs farmed out to pleasure hunters to hunt for the kill season. I will be hunting Chief. I really enjoy hunting Chief, and he loves to go hunting. Chief is too nice of a hound to just sit in the kennel. As chief and I reach our so called Golden years, We will enjoy them together.
