LIL RED

I like her, she looks like a hound and not a greyhound. Her and JOKER should have some very strong' big chested, houndy looking pups . I hear JOE has his pup OUT OF JOKER AND KATE turning it on now ,sounds like another good one. TOM

Matt

You are right...she is a thick chested dog! ****! Tom is right...they are going to be some stout dogs if they are like either Lil' Red or Joker. Geez almighty. I can't get over how broad she is. First female I have seen that on. She could take a guy out at the knees.

Hope you are warming up out there and getting some hunting done. Joe and I are going to meet up for a hunt tomorrow. It will be some fun. Wonder who is going to get the most s**t.......Ha Ha.

Going to go out here in a little.
Post took me for a ride last night. Treed deep....real deep.
Take care all.

Feeders

Been at putting some buckets out for the coons, they need the help right now. It is getting a little expensive ,but if I don't feed them they won't stay. They need a picknick basket back here. The snow is about ten inches deep in the timber yet,the dogs are nuts ready to go .Did all of you send in your ballots? I'm voting for TERRY [the dog ] I think he deserves it. If it wern't for him we would not have all the nice young dogs out of JOKER. Joe I hear your pup is starting to crank it up a notch. TALK AT YOU LATER TOM

Tom

I can't believe you still have that much snow on the ground. That is something. The coons are running really well around here. They are going a ways. You never know where you are going to run across one.
Going to be mid 60s today and 50 something tonight. Should be a good warm hunt. It is going to be strange not having all of those clothes on.
Take care all.

I was in the timber yesterday and I think the RANGER was sinking in the mud about 6 of those ten inches. Snow has really gone the last two days ,but there is plenty in spots. Maybe tonite I'll see if that RANGER will go through the mud. Still working on feeders for the coon ,got to raise some healthy little ones for next year. Trying to build them so the deer don't eat all the corn, got tires and buckets out but they haven't found them yet. Even put one dog self feeder out , it works real well but they are a little to much money to use to many of them. Corn 7.50 a bag ,coondog 1500, RANGER 12000, one coon in a tree over ANNIE priceless. JEFF

That is one big THANK YOU for the offer.Randy is just a little gready with those young dogs, but I'm not sure what they have ready right now. Mine is not far enough along for the hunts ,but when she is I'll sure keep you in mind. I'm really not able to keep up with the younger crowd in the hunts. Looks like you have some good bred females there. I always hunted the females ,alot smarter than the males. Call me and we'll get together, JOE I have one full purpose dog in LITTLE ANNIE , this morning early she treed a ground hog ,caught a tree rat found a shed and brought it to me will tree coon at night. I think tommorow I'm taking her bird hunting, just don't get any better all those dogs rapped up in one . SHE is a sweatheart. MARK I know she has a good nose ,little bitty horn. TOM

Posted by CBkennels on 02-20-2011 02:20 AM:

No problem Tom, I feel that the more people workn together the more we could acheive. Im never been a big comp hunter, but Im lookin to do alot more. I know I like certain things in a dog, and it sounds that Joker is putn some things in them I like. I know that Bub has always had nothn but great things to say about you guys and Ive enjoyed talkin to you guys. Seems that you have some good things going, and are doing it the right way. Like I said I will help you guys anyway that i can. Take care, lookin to do some things together in the very near future

Thanks for offering what you have. That is worth a lot. It takes several people and the right people to make things happen to go from good to great. In the future I hope we can help you out as well. I look forward to talking to you. The peds look good to me!
Should be a fun year. Everybody is looking forward to it. I think we are already having plenty of fun.

Tom,
I need to borrow your pup then. I know there are big sheds out there but no luck yet.

I'm without a dog for comp hunts. Poster found a road last night at the comp hunt. It sucks. **** happens I suppose but I really like the comp hunting and feel bad for Joe. Don't like things messed up in my game plan under my watch. Rambo and I without a hunting buddy now. Liked that crazy booger to. He got the job done a different way and with that he was a challenge in a way. I ate that up going into the hunts.
I'll be back at it tomrw night with rambo and as soon as I find another dog for the hunts I'm in.

Take care all,

THAT

IS not good news,is 2011 going to be one of those years?Sorry to hear that JOE, those good ones are hard to come by. QUESS I have to get off my butt and get ANNIE ready ,but that might take a little while. First thing we have to quit shed hunting .Darn it we'll just have to quit having fun and get to work . JEFF thanks again and maybe we can get together real soon . Don't know exactly were you live but you may be closer to Randy . TOM

Posted by CBkennels on 02-21-2011 01:28 AM:

Thats Bad news

Sorry to hear that. Ill be in touch with you guess this week, had some minor back surgery Friday and oldest has basketball tournament all day Sat then kinda hung out with the kiddos today recoupin till I had to take my boys home. I have a few young kids that will be willing to handle some, they are young but very talented future houndsmen, I have alot of respect for the way treat their dogs and handle themselves, Im also gonna do some callin and talk to afew people that Ive been fortunate to meet that are good guys to try to help out also. Most are just pleasure hunters, but hunt hard just dont care for the hunts, but Im sure they would be willing to let someone put them in them. I know a great pup starter also that would prob be willin to help out also. I will help anyway I can. Tom I live about 40 min straight north of Bub. Take care Ill be in touch.

Nice looking dog. I don't care what they look like....as long as they show me the coon and get it done. Blue ones are different though.
So Terry dog is his daddy??? If Bo in there probably you meant only 1/4 brother unless of course you bred corkscrew.

I really was happy with Rambo last night. Took a cold track and went 567 yards with it and had the coon. It was a good race and a joy to listen to. What it is all about.

In meetins all day.....blah blah blah. If anybody wants to call me to bail me out a while.

Take care all
