Doug, took Trailers Reba Gal last night. She did a real good job on the caged coon. What a mouth on a female! I'm excited about this one.

Wish I could scan the article to this thread, but it wont show up good enough for anybody to read. The article talks about a hunt in which Mr. Nation turned Trailer, Hicks Big Time Albert, Nation's Red Boy Banjo, and a Spare Time Spanky pup a loose one night in the Louisiana swamps.

From what I read Trailer did as good or better than these other top hounds in the article. They hunted all night and finished the hunt with all four hounds treed with a coon as the sun came up over the swamp.

It's one of the better articles I've read in the American Cooner lately.

Reba's Trailer Gal (Trailer x Reba)

Just got back from Tensas National Wildlife Refuge. Hunted 2 nights and made around 10-12 trees. Gal did outstanding for a 7 month old pup.

On the first night Gal caught a coon on the ground that had jumped out of the tree and killed it. The very next tree we made she rolled up on that tree with a locate that would curl your hair and started treeing every breath. She's been running and treeing with the old dogs ever since.

I don't like to brag. Just really excited about this dog. She has went from a pup that knew nothing to a very well started dog in a very short amount of time (3 weeks).
