Thanks for the video Perry, looks and sounds good. By the end of the season, and a little more age he should make a nice hound. Having someone that puts the time and the effort in makes a big difference.

Midenite 2010, I had two Hounds named Bubba. One as a young hound out of Chief, I sold him to a gentleman in MO. He called me a couple of weeks ago and told me that he was making a nice hound. The other Bubba was Nite Ch. Tiffin River Bubba. I sold him about a month ago.

Dave, did Chief go back in the SS program for this year?

Jewell is all bellied up. Looks like she may have a nice # of pups. Im hoping for 6 pups.

Big Joe treed another coon last night in front of a pretty darn good older hound.

knocked the dust off Chief, and cut him lose tonight. Frist dump 756 yards treed with coon on out side. It took him 5 min and 23 seconds to get treed. Worked out well for me. I got up from tailgate and drove within 50 yards of him. shot it out and cut him again. By the time I got back to the truck, he barked once and fell treed. Garmin said 458 yards. drove up the road 400 yards and walked in to him. Had another coon on out side, and I rolled it out to him. Went to another spot. The wind had kicked up to bout 30 mph. so I called it a night. When I got home my wife said I thought you where going hunting. I said I did. she said but you just left. I said I know, smiled and turned on the TV. She rolled her eyes shook her head and walked away

Acts great in the woods. Goes good with the dogs and treed a little the other nite on a nice den tree. Left her loose on the way back to the truck and she took off on a hot deer. She is just 6 months old and I like her. She is pretty bold.

Went out with Lawerance Goins,dog out of that Wild Chief dog.You want to talk about a blow down treedog,man o man,He was Poundin it .heck of a treedog,I couldn't get over it,Im tellin ya,WOW.heck of a tree mouth hard chop,ill put that hound right up there with some of best treedogs ive seen ,real mouth plus to boot hunt off the face of the earth to get treed by himself,anyway hats off to that stud dog, chief ,that's the way

The weather here has been cold. we had -17 one night last week. Highs in the teens. Snow is not real deep. 1 to 2 feet is all. Going to pick my pup up from Nick this week. Its hard to raise a single pup in this cold. Even with the insulated box in the barn, you still need to ad a little heat. I think its time to head south for a week of hunting. take care Dave

I have purchased a female out of Chief, and will be picking her up next week. I look forward to putting her in the hunts this year. She is out of Chief and Breeze. She has a 1st and 2nd in the nite hunts. The second was at this years fall roundup. I would like to thank Bob Becket for giving me the opportunity to own her. Chief

Going to be nasty here this week . Snow is waist deep. Temp today isn't going to get above 0. It is -12 this am. Going down to -15 tonight. Going to be like this at least for the next 10 days. Cant wait till spring. Chief is happy in the Barn with lots of straw and a 125 watt heating lamp in is box. Even at these temps his house stays between 50 and 60. Stay warm and take care Dave
