Well I've received a couple of PM's asking why I've not posted lately . The answer to that is last year we were rear ended at a stop light that gave me a whiplash and when my neck goes out of place my fingers go numb on both my hands,, causing me to not be able to hold my gold pan properly . I'm taking therapy and on meds to help correct this issue and both are helping me.

Gold is down to $1166.00 an ounce ,some are forecasting it will drop to $700.00 , well I'm going to try my hands out this weekend panning some out . Wish me Luck !!

I was out on the deck getting my pans , scoops and screens gather up for storage this coming winter . That's when I noticed my wife had taken a magic marker and wrote on the bottom of my pan ,, If you can read this ,your using it wrong ,,lol, the pan was up side down . I'll get her back !

Chuck- We've been talking gold in my science classes lately and I've been relating what you've told us here. I've got a bunch of kids excited about getting rich finding gold. I tried telling tell that it's not going to be that easy but I don't think they listened to that part. I see Aanta bringing gold pans to a few of them. Keep the stories and info coming! Thanks

Thanks Chuck! We will be along the Cannon River but in Morristown Mn. The schools address is WEM Junior High, 23 Ann Street, Morrisrown MN 55052. The river is only about 3 blocks to the east. Doug , Sorry about not replying but my brother-in-law past away Christmas morning . When would be a good time to call you ? The banjo pans would be very good for beginners I think , but they are pricey ! You guys should have NO PROBLEMS finding finding some gold in your area . Oh by the way I got your PM .
