Bond, I guess that you will just have to find a hill or ridge to turn loose on. Do y'all have any of those? Coons have left the creeks by now anyway and headed to high ground and acorns. The sun actually came out here this morning. I haven't seen it since I left Flora.

Been a bad week to be a coon hunter in this part of the country. It has also been a bad week to be a bear in the North Woods of Maine. Brayden, Andy and some of their friends have had a good week.

Those were great, Bob will love em when he gets to see them. I particularly like the dawg with more of a bawl mouth. The cat, Scairedycat... seated beside me on the sofa did NOT! lol....
Keep em out of the woods and stay safe in those flooded areas! We needed the rain here so badly in Wrentham MA and we are still getting it...and we are lucky, up on a hill! It will make the foxhunting(on horseback) a bit more interesting! We always look forward to them running the dawgs cause... me miss our coonhounds so much we will take foxhound song. PLUS the coonhounds across the St will sing along I bet!
Jerhovt, you need to put amplifiers on your dawgs so Bob and I can sit here at home an listen to yours treed in VT! lol

So, how did y'all do at Check this weekend? Bond, I bet that you didn't have to look very far to find a place for your dogs to practice their swimming/water racing. The only early morning text that I have gotten was from Jared saying that Fancy, his Boone pup, got a second place win up in Indiana. The sun has finally come back out down here and it looks like there is no rain forecast all week. It looks like Boone, Winnie and one of my pups will finally be able to get back out.

Not much going on up here rain wind fog no sun yet Friday football was canceled around here some played Thursday night but most will play Monday night went to the Tech game Saturday they lost again picked up a champion win on Storm Saturday at Check do too much rain we showed inside on tables that was a experience hard slick shaking oh well and I think Pastor Mike finished Stella out to show champion other than that not much happening I guess I will wait till Tuesday to get back at it I will be at Monday night football Monday night Bland has a two nighters this week end but Tech plays NC State Friday night at home so I will be there the local High Schools have moved there games to Saturday so I guess I will be at Saturday football

It was Sheba's turn to go last night. Setting up for 4 months and having a litter of pups didn't seem to slow her down any. We even had an unsanctioned water race across a slough to get this one treed.

Oh no, Bond has learned a new trick! Has anyone talked to Pastor Mike? Is he still on the injured reserve list? The last time that I talked to him he was on his way to physical therapy. I hope that he can make it through rehab so that we don't have to cut him.

I'm still kicking. ...just not as high. 3 Straight days of physical therapy. The back is doing better but still pain. Meds work pretty good but they make me a little loopy. Got to keep stretching the back muscles and get it back to normal. I think I've made pretty good progress considering I couldn't even walk Monday evening and night.

I went down to Alabama last night to hunt with a six mos old Jim X Wendy pup that is a littermate to the female P Mike has. It was almost unbelievable to see what he is doing at just six mos old. He is very independant and loves to run his own track and tree.
