Dr Fauci, one of the experts lied. He said that we would shortly have 100,000 new cases/day. The # of new cases has already peaked and is starting to drop. The number of new deaths/day also continues to drop.
We all know that if you have underlying medical problems Covid 19 can be awful, even deadly. But if you have underlying medical problems then almost everything is a problem and you are usually in and out of the hospital.
While I am not a scientist or an expert, it seems to me that if you are going to get the virus you are going to get it. If your resistance is good then you won't. It doesn't really matter whether you stay home or wear a mask.

To put it into perspective...
20-50 million people are injured or disabled in auto accidents in the US each year.
3,200 people are killed in auto accidents in the US every day.

Is everyone freaking out and not getting into their car? Does anyone think that the government should stop people from driving to the beach on their vacation because they might have an accident?

Richard the good doctor is on the democrats payroll. Ever see anything positive posted on the virus? It always the doom and gloom. All the info is coming out of democratic states with democratic mayors and governors. It will all be fine in November, that is if they win. If not, Schiff will be dreaming up another lie for us to spend money on trying to oust Trump.

Starting this week in Knoxville, Tennessee everyone leaving their home and going out in public must wear a mask or they will receive I fine. They're really taking this stuff to the max. Little late for them to start doing this they should have started that when everything first happend with the virus. I dont get it anyways my opinion they're trying to push they're authority as far as they can but it may work also I really dont know.

More testing doesn't give us more cases (they exist whether we test or not). The testing only gives us confirmation.

The plus side to this is that the death rate percentage is actually much lower than test data indicates (because many have had it and recovered without ever having been identified as having it).

The negative side is that it's spreading like wildfire since Memorial Day, and July 4th is coming up. And, we're in vacation season.

We just need people to be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem.

While the # of cases is going up, the # of deaths is going down. I don't understand.
Y'all need to all stay home this 4th of July weekend. I am going camping at one of our beautiful State Parks and I don't want you to give me Carona. I wonder if I will have to wear a mask?

I'm not sure why you keep posting about this topic you declared on 5/13 /20 the pandemic was over.....but yet you keep booooing booooing around I think you just like hearing yourself talk.......

You are partly right, I don't like hearing myself talk but I do like posting. I also like the fact that the virus is weakening. I don't understand why some people (mostly dumbrats) don't like that. I would think that everyone would be overjoyed that the virus was weakening and they could go back to work.

I'd bet if testing was done for cancer on MILLIONS of people in a short time period......cancer numbers would sky rocket.

This is where I'm confused about covid-19 testing. It's so contagious a person can catch it from 5 feet away from saliva droplets when you speak to them. But to test for it they shove a swab up your nostril almost to your brain. If the virus is in saliva why can't you just spit on the swab?

My wife said that she read a news story on her phone the other day about a nurse in California who was testing people and 95% of the tests were coming back positive. She was suspicious of course , so she took 5 tests out of their packaging and put it directly into the sealed tube with 5 fictitious names. Guess what? They ALL came back positive. You think there is some kinda bull%$#@ going on? No. Couldn't be. Rob

We americans are spoiled , we are going to do what we want even if it puts other peoples life in danger. The covid19 cases in the U.S. are on the rise because we opened the economy too soon , plus people were not following the rules put out by the Center of Disease Control. If you look at just about every other country , the number of cases are going down because the rules are enforced much more strictly. This is not a democrat / republican thing. Covid 19 effects all people. Everyone's taxes are going to go up to pay for the lose of money that covid19 has caused. If people don't start working together and take the rules on how to contain the virus seriously , we will never get thru this crisis. If you look at canada , they have very , very low numbers of cases. The U.S. numbers are so high other countries will not let us to enter their country. This country has too many people who can not follow rules or laws. The spread of the virus, the protesters , people not following the recommendations for the center of disease control are all to blame. We are all in a terrible mess and it don't look like we will ever get back to what we use to call NORMAL.

The mask issue seems to be a big deal to some. I don't know why it should be (except it can be uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time). I do it. It does gets me in and out of stores faster.

Is it an infringement on our rights? No more than having to wear pants, a shirt, and shoes. Imagine trying to walk into a store barefoot and naked (and claiming that restrictions against this are a violation of your rights).

We need to solve this problem through our own actions, rather than making it bigger because of our own actions.
