Right now anyone can come up to Nevergone and Breed to RED's Semen, in Wabash Indiana. We are also getting ready to send 10-12 straws down to North Carolina so there will be Semen there as well. I think it will be stored in Raleigh. From here on out I am planning on registering on My litters PKC super stake as well as UKC performance. Thanks John

From Ok sent me an email, he said his young dog out of RED and Daisy stayed Treed last night for 2 hours before he could get to him!!! And said he is going to be ready for the hunts any time!!!

``Hunted dan the last two nights. The dog is getting pretty good at getting to himself and getting treed. He absolutely will not go to another dog whatsoever or hasnt been. Which i like. He was treed about two hours last night off to hisself while i went to two other trees. Didnt budge. I had some issues with him getting collar smart and not wanting to open with an ecollar on but hes come out if that luckily. I wont hunt a young dog without one. Iv got to keep a bark collar on him at the house. If he keeps up what hes doing ill have him in some hunts in the fall. That deep and lonely hes been doing will win a hunt around here. Iv got a female im going to push till then.``

Red is reproducing very well, every hound that gets a chance out of him so far is making a coondog, the oldest pups will be two in August. If you look at REDS pedigree you will find that he is bred to be a reproducer. He is double bred GRNITECH Hoffmiester Rusty Red top and bottom, 4 times in 4 generation. Him and his full brother Deuce both should be top reproducers weather they are line bred or outcrossed. While it is a bonus that Red and Deuce's pedigree's are almost all grand, these hounds have been bred to reproduce well by those who have had lots of experience. Those who knew what they were doing and maybe even had some luck. Both I am Don are very blessed to be the owners of these fine hounds. And Don and I both recognize the hard work other breeders have put into them.

In the late 90's I had a hound that was a top competition dog and coondog and I bred him as much as I could, but never got the pups into the right hands; Ever since then I decided that if I ever got another top quality hound that could help the Redbone breed I would advertise that hound and promote him; so they could inturn help the breed. RED has got the characteristics that I believe will help our breed. Therefore I have decided to make a big investment into RED's Semen and I will be having another 40-45 straws collected from him. Please consider breeding to him while he is still relatively young. You will not be disappointed. I will breed RED to any female that is a coondog (can run and tree her own coon) and has an average or better mouth. Sorry if you have a female with a weak mouth I am not interested in breeding regardless of how good she may be.

Had a great time at NRD

It was great to see everyone and connect with new people. A great time in Holmesville, hunted Red Thursday and Friday and Tess on Saturday night, Red looked good Friday night, but no luck!!

will be standing in Indiana for stud for a while. I have placed almost all of his pups in coonhunters hands. If you have a nice female that can run and tree a coon, I will help you place the pups. Thanks John
