It is -17 here this am. Got another 6 " of snow. I feel more like a weather man the coon hunter. As soon as I get done running the snow blower, Sitting next to the wood stove seems to be my favorite thing to do right now.

Dennis, I hope she turns out to be a good one. I wish they where a little older, so I would know more on how the cross worked. That litter is scattered all over the country. Only time will tell how it worked. When is your female out of Ugly due to come in heat? My son is still station at Fort Drum, But he spent the last 6 weeks training in La. He was glad to get out of the cold. He was home this weekend for 4 days. And went back yesterday. He said weather is about the same here, But you have a little more snow. I put him to work shoveling about a foot and a half of snow off the roof of the house. I think its been over a month since the temp has been above freezing. Take care and stay warm.

hey Dave last year she came in heat early may that was a couple months early still want to try ill let you know. As far as this snow goes IM SICK of it we didn't even get a January thaw, hope this don't hurt the coons from breeding

Lots A Grit Wild and Blue Jazz

4.5 month old pup from Chief and Jewel. The video was taken today. That is a wild coon that must have heard the 4 wheeler coming while I was headed out to fill the feeders. I had no idea it was around until Jazz treed it.

Justed picked a nice 17 month old male tonight that is out of a female from the Harpeth River jack/Thunder cross. Treed a coon on way home with him, so we'll find out more about him in coming weeks. Take care, Ron.

Josh LaBar from the Black River Falls, Wi area owns her littermate sister now. I've had Josie out 2x within the last month or so. She isn't opening on track yet, but trees some till I get there, which sucks cuz she is gonna be a nice tree dog and I can't really get a video to show you. That time will come, as she has still yet to see a live coon. Need to dig my trap out of the garage and make that happen. A little news on the bad side, is that I need to take her to the vet. A couple days ago I noticed she is losing some hair around her neck area, up to her ear base. Her ears are clean, but I gave her some mearicle ear solution anyways. Now today, she is very hoarse. I wish I knew what was going on, but hopefully the vet can square it all away after this weekend.
