This is Bill Lennings and Paul Gibson with 1998 ACHA World Champion GRNITECH 'PR Dancing Judy.

This is GRNITECH Dark Shadow Joe with Emmett Dalton. Joe was one of Emmett's favorite dogs. The reason being was that Joe did have a reverse gear. Joe is mostly known for siring the 1992 UKC World Champion GRNITECH Cowles' Big River Jesse.

Emmett Dalton and Darrell Brown with a younger GRNITECH Iceman.

This is Irvin Sutton with GRNITECH Dark Shadow Bobbie and Emmett Dalton/Bill Rosenbaum with GRNITECH Little Swanging Tapp at the finals of the 1991 UKC World Hunt. Bobbie and Tapp were the first littermates to ever place in the top ten. These two hounds are legends.

GR NITE CH WILLIAMS BLUE GOOSE............She was raised in Glasgow, Ky by Steve Williams. She was a work in progress until Doug Browning started hunting her. Doug made her a coondog by hunting the hair off of her. Goose was a hard, wide hunter that was tireless. She would wear out most dogs on a hunt. Steve Bull hanlded Goose in the hunts and he did the majority of the winning with her. Goose was owned by Lee Wilder during the latter part of her life. Goose was bred to only two english dogs in her lifetime; GR NITE CH Boyd's Little Joe and GR NITE CH Hayes' Hardtime Speck. Goose's offspring made alot of noise and did her grandpups and so on.

WILDER'S LITTLE GOOSE.......She was one of the best reproducing females to ever breathe air. She was Sired by Gr Nite Ch Boyd's Little Joe and Gr Nite Ch Williams Blue Goose. There were several good dogs from this litter but she is the most well known. Goose was owned by Emmett Dalton and, for many years, was the cornerstone of his breeding program. She was on the very first reproducer's list that UKC came out with

I know that the picture of Timber says GRNITECH, but all of the pedigrees show that he was only a NITECH.

Best Looking English

I've gotta put my two cents in.

When it comes to the best looking English dogs I've seen, two dogs really stand out. (1) Whitt's Blue Jim - he was from WV, and was directly out of Bates Kash, and (2) Sargent's Blue. All these years later, these two still stand out.

Thanks for the pics Cartwright me and Emmet was talking bout all them ol hounds just the other day while we was walking the curs..I will see Lee Wilder monday I will try to get the ol goat to let me take his pic and I will post it all these years later and he still looks about the same..

Lee Wilder

This is the man responsable for assembling one heck of a group of dogs Tapp/Boyds Little Joe/Goose bred dogs back in the 70/80 he made crosses on English dogs that are still impacting our breed today he had a hand in alot of the dogs and crosses that reproduced alot of the dogs mentioned on this post.He agreed and offered to make a video and talk about some of the dogs crosses and myth's about this line of hounds one of the biggest myth's he was very willing to clear up is about Dark Shadow Joe he is very willing to clear this myth up!!! He is the man that made the crosses that reproduced alot of the greats he is the man that supplied Bill Rosenbaum with all the Dark Shadow hounds and Lee is the man that converted Emmet Daulton from Walker's to English..Lee is also the reason I hunt English hounds myself Lee played a major roll in the English dogs alot of us have today.Thank you Lee Wilder!!!!

GRNT Morris Hardtime Booger

I havent seen that ad on Booger in years. Booger was a hack of a coondog. I loved his mouth and his style. He sold me on them sneeky dogs that are deadly accurate. Thanks for posting his ad I always liked old Booger.
