Posted by bigtimberkennel on 10-30-2013 03:33 AM:

I don't like ta hunt with leaves on either, want too see something up there..... hopefully a coon last season it seemed like all I could get was dens,I know coons gotta live somewhere but it was gettin' ridiculous. I think where I was huntin' it was pressured too hard,as soon as a coon heard a bark it went home in the hole.

Who all's got fog this mornin'? AK what did ya find out on the hound?

Posted by Alan K. on 10-30-2013 01:17 PM:

Ya, was'nt anything I needed. Got a lead on one, but don't know yet, guy's checking. So foggy here you need a knife to cut it. Might run down to Salem today just to be nosy and see if there is any venders giving stuff away, or anything I don't think I can do without. Have no idea of anything I need, but sure I will find something, might just be a cup of coffee though.

Morning guys. Stayed in last night. I was tired from Monday night. I drove 184 miles Monday night. I slept good last night. Wife said it thunder and lightning and rain last night. I did not hear a thing. It poured while drinking coffee this morning. Looks like we are going to get more to. This is the last night before the ten day law starts in. No more coon hunting after tonight.

You mean the dead dog was better than what he had? No big rain storm here yet, talkin' later this afternoon, townshipin' today & looks like the rest of the week if it rains like they say. Might slip down ta Salem.....the key word is "might",I'm like you don't really need anything there, was there a lot of venders Mike?

Posted by Alan K. on 10-30-2013 09:01 PM:

TD, There was 5 or 6 venders, Lot's of stuff but they was'nt giving anything away. Seems like most had the same stuff, but I guess there is'nt much new out there. Croud was pretty slim, but got there around 10 and left aroud 1. Mostly hunters going to hunt tonight.

Thank ya,sounds like if I don't make it I won't miss much. Wouldn't mind havin' a set of chaps without the boots,Jeff says they help keep the wind off & he likes his so far. From the looks of the radar Chuck's gettin' all the rain, them hunters may not get wet tonight.

Yeah it be raining here. Somedays it seems I can't get on here to say hello because the family moved my brother in law back in for me to watch over. Man it is tough watching a 67 year old man with a 4 or 5 year old mentality ,,Alzheimers is nasty .

Evening GENTS. Stormy later on tonight and stormy tomorrow. We might get up to 3 inches they are saying. Hope not. That will mess the World Hunt up cause all the creeks will come up.

Do they allow boats in the hunt? Weather says we may get up too 2"....we need more but not all at once, some fields here have huge cracks in them, creeks are dried up & river is low enough it ain't movin'.

Sorry to hear about that man, Chuck.

That is a bad disease and i feel so sorry for those with it and caregivers. My old boss mother had it and soothing music seemed to help and lots of patience. Hillbilly is right often moves to different locations make it worse.

Rain will help tracking, my son Andy is really looking forward to hunting this year so Tony be ready!!

Have a good day all, Jeff
