Heckler, Sorry to hear about your dog. I know how hard it is to keep a dog in good health in that part of the country. I just got back in from the woods the youth you see in the picks is hunting Slinger in youth hunt next week. We had a great hunt treed 3 times he called the dog like and PRO we seen 3 coons and a litter of kittens. It was a good hunt. Heckler I can't wait for these pups to get in the woods ..... We are suppose to have some of that 100 degree Flordia weather starting tomorrow...

Slinger here's something that has never happened to me before. A fireant made his way into my nose and bit the snot out of the inside of my nostril. Then another got me on the back of the leg. All this happened with greasy hands as I was changing the shocks on my truck.

Good luck with that new litter of pups. They look good from what I can tell.

Oh here we go again about the walker stuff. You find me one black and white and I can live with that.

No problem.Heckler how did the hunt go with new dog. Old Slinger is hunting at a youth hunt tonight I hope the youg man wins.He sure is pumped up.

Well he took a dump in the box and pissed me off. I put him in a branch and he went back to the road and took another dump, crossed the branch, peeled back in on the other side and struck a coon. He worked it a long ways and treed and it was a long walk. I couldn't find the coon. Not too much to brag about when I can't see the coon.

how about it Heckler give me a update....

I hunted Friday night before the storms hit this past week end. He is the kind of dog I think you would like. The dog has not been hunted alot. He don't have nothing on his mind but going hunting and getting treed. He stays hooked and has one loud mouth on him. This dog strikes quick and locates quick. I haven't ever had a dog like this one. The jury is still out on accuracy. He may be slickin' on me until I get some better trees to shine.

He's eat up with fleas bad and now I'm battling that mess. I'm having to spray all my dogs and pens. That's got me aggrivated. I didn't even look him over when I got him home. It's so bad he looked like he was bleeding when I was spraying him down. I got him up to date on his shots and worm medicine. I'm going to have to go get some stronger wormer because I'm thinking he has tape worms with all them fleas. Personally I think his health is down from the fleas. He got hot too quick for no more than what he did on the first turn out. He just looks kind of poor. I think those fleas have been on him so long that he just stood there and never moved while I was spraying him down. It's pitiful knowing this dog could have been cared for a little better.

Get some PANCUR wormer and back down on high protien food. He will proably be a steam winder when you get him back up.

Panacur is what I am going to pick up here in a little bit if I make it to the store before they close. I haven't fed hi protein feed in several years.

Been out any Big Boy? Mini Slam friday night?
