Just Give Me Jesus

Good Mornin All . What nice days were havin here in the riverbottoms. There just right .The harvest is movin right along and soon the snow is gona come.and we will be waiting for springtime once again So enjoy these nice days while we have them ,,now on to todays message.... Just Give Me Jesus

“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” - Psalm 29:2

There was a man who had lived a long life with Jesus, and now he was dying. His loved ones came to him and asked him to sign his name to a legal document. They said, “Daddy, if you would sign this, it would help us with a lot of legal difficulties. We hate to mention it, but it needs to be done.”

With the old man facing eternity, he lifted his quivering old hand and signed the paper. Before long, he went to be with the Lord. When the family picked up the document, to their amazement he had signed, “Jesus.” More than likely, it was the only name that meant anything to him in those moments.

What name means the most to you right now? There will come a time when the only name that will mean anything to you is—Jesus. Jesus means everything to me. I could not make it through the day with out him leading me and helping me . Jesus will do the same for you if you have him in your life . Right now is a good time to ask him Tell him that you Love him,Tell him that you Trust and Believe he died on the cross for your sins . Tell him you are a sinner and you want him to forgive you for all your sins Tell him you know he arose from the grave 3 days later and sit at the right hand of God If you have said this and truly from your heart want Jesus in your life ,,You my friend or now a part of Gods family. Now watch how your life will be changed ...Thank You Jesus ! God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas ,,Have a Blessed Day,, Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom Ron,, Prayer It Works

The Goal Of an Unbroken Circle

Well its Friday once again.I hope you had a good week and have a good weekend to come. This is a busy time of year for me . I work at my regular job then come home and work here. But thats ok ,i dont mind a little work ..its just getin it done that bothers me .. Lets get to todays message.. The Goal of An Unbroken Circle

“In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and His children shall have a place of refuge.” - Proverbs 14:26

The devil hates families who worship together. He will allow parents to be religious, but he does not want them to take their children to heaven with them. As a result, we’re losing an entire generation. Our children are being left behind to die and go to hell because we are compromising with Satan.

Catherine Booth, wife of the founder of the Salvation Army, prayed, “Oh God, I will not stand before Thee without all my children.”

There are many fathers and mothers today who need to say that. Stand firm, Mom. Stand firm, Dad. Gather those children close to you and love them to Jesus. I worried alot about my children now grown and worried about my grandchildren also and every other family member that I Love going to Heaven. I am assured by God that I know right now all of them have accepted Christ as there Personnal Savior and I dont think about it much... I do worry about others like you,and you and you I want everyone to go to Heaven with me . Yous that really want a releationship with JESUS but hasnt started that yet.Time is running out.One day soon Christ is coming back.My Prayer today is that you and you and you ask Jesus into your life ,,,God Loves yas ,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,, Your Friend In Christ,, From The Riverbottom ,,Ron ,, Prayer as always for all

On Rough Seas

Good Mornin weekend. Duck season has started lots of hunters went down the bottom road this mornin before daylight and Im hearin many gunshots, Winter is knockin on the door after duckseason starts ,,Its not long after that the cold comes along with the wind and snow ,,But for now Im sitin out here on my deck drinkin coffee and enjoying this awsome mornin that GOD has given us,now to todays message he steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3

Some types of anchors are designed with sturdy hooks to dig into a sea bottom, or latch on to a big rock. They halt a boat’s drag, caused by wind and waves. The soul needs to be anchored. Paul wrote that we are “tossed” about by winds and waves of differing beliefs (Ephesians 4:14). James describes the doubt that sometimes causes us to be driven on the surf of unbelief, and carried along with whatever wind may be blowing (James 1:6). But faith in God anchors the soul, stops the drift and drag, enabling us to rest, even in stormy seas. My boat isnt rockin Thank You JESUS for that God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Weekend,,,Your Friend In Christ,From The Riverbottom,,Ron Prayers for all

Let The New Life Push Out The Old

Hey Hey Hey !! Its Monday,,I had a good weekend The Trees are in full autum color ,and vistors that comes to this part of the country to see them where here this weekend.I had to go to town for some grocerys ,,what normaly took about 5 minutes to get through town ,,took 45 I was glad when I got back home ,,,lets go to todays message ... Let Your New Life Push Out the Old!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Our eyes delight to see those trees in autumn which turn glorious colors, then drop their leaves one by one. But there are certain trees that hold their leaves until spring. They wither and turn brown, but they don’t drop. Not until spring do these trees lose their leaves—when the new leaves push out the old leaves.

That’s exactly what happens to our old habits and our old lives when we find the Lord Jesus. The new life pushes that old life off.

It’s not a matter of plucking off this leaf and knocking off that leaf. The Christian life is not forged in that manner. Our new life replaces our old life when we are born again. then your life will start changing just like the autum leaves on the trees ,a little at a time...God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend in Christ ,,From The Riverbottom Ron,,,, Prayer is what ya need and Im gona give it to ya...

The Fear Of God

The other day I went up into the mountains to seek God and to meditate on the message that was preached earlier that morning. The Lord took me out behind the wood shed and gave me one of those spiritual thrashing that we all get when we find ourselves falling away from where we need to be with him. My spirit was convicted and I found myself in prayer asking for forgiveness for my short comings and trespasses against The Lord. Ya know, its a privilege to be able to Humble ourselves before God and the fact that his grace and mercy is sufficient for any trial we go through is amazing. Once I got where I needed to be with him I felt his spirit come all over me and he directed me to some scripture that I had never read before. I can't recall the exact verse at this moment, but one particular verse really stuck out and it read, "fear fell upon every soul." I began to meditate on this and thought to myself, "What does it truly mean to fear God?" The Fear of God is a beautiful thing. It keeps us humble, and reminds us just how small we really are and how great God truly is. The fear of God to those who are unsaved sounds silly and often it is misunderstood. The world might challenge us Christians with the question, "why would you serve a god whom you fear?" Well, this is where the misunderstanding takes place. To most people fear is an unpleasant thing. People think of it as being scared or frightened, but in this case when referring to God it means to be in awe of God and all of his power and dominion over creation. The fear of God is purely Godly Awe. Now awe means amazement and to be amazed we first have to realize that what you are amazed of is far beyond your own power or reach. God is far beyond our reach without his son making intercession for us, but before this intercession can be made we need to have the precious blood of Jesus Christ applied to our hearts. Once the blood is applied God continues to awe us each and every day. He awes me with the colors of Fall, with the power of the rivers, with the wind, with the rain, with the storms, with the sun, with the moon, and with the stars. But most of all I find myself in awe of how far he has brought me in my Christian walk. We must serve and fear God with a humble heart, for in him we have our being. We literally can do nothing without God. He provides us with our every need. Now, notice I didn't say want, because God supplies our needs. Wants are Earthly and we must let go of this world to fulfill our duties to God. Without the Fear of God in our Hearts we cannot expect to have a healthy Christian lifestyle or an open and loving relationship with God. You want to grow closer to God? Live with the fear of God in your heart. Exhalt him and understand who he truly is. Seek him out daily and you'll find him everywhere.

Have a blessed one.

Come This Mornin To The Cleansing Basin

What an Awsome Mornin! Thank You Brother Preston Chadwell for that post Words of the Lord doesnt get much better than what ya posted.I can remember before I became a Christian when I read the word in The Bible Fear the Lord,,I thought why should we be afraid of him if hes such a Good God,Is he tryin to scare me into becomein a Christian. But I found out later after becomein a Christian and reading the words in The Bible It was different.Brother Preston you are welcome to get on here and post anytime The Words of Our Lord, We better get on to todays message Come This Morning to the Cleansing Basin

“Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.” - Psalm 51:2

Before a priest could enter the Holy of Holies, he had to stop by the basin and wash his hands and feet. He had already been washed from head to toe, but there is no floor in the tabernacle, only dirt. This final preparation before he entered God’s presence was to symbolize the washing away of the defilement of this world.

As you and I come into contact with the world, we are going to become defiled. We don’t need a bath all over. We are already saved. But each day we must ask God to search our hearts and cleanse us from our sins. When we do that God will hit us with a white tornado and we will be cleaner than Ole Mr Clean and Ole Oxy Clean could ever get us.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if each of us came into the presence of God as seriously as the Old Testament priests? We should. Have you been to the cleansing basin this morning? Ask for forgivness and The Lord will do it,,{Why } Because,,God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom Ron ,,Prayers for you all

Are You Sitting on a Lukewarm Fence?

Hello! Baby Its cool outside. The weatherman said by Friday its gona be about 33 degrees at night Now thats winter time weather.Im getin cold just thinkin about it so lets get goin and see if we can get at least lukewarm! Are You Sitting on the Lukewarm Fence?

“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.” - Philippians 1:20

May God help us today in the midst of our lukewarm apathy toward the things that matter most to Him! If it’s worth anything, it’s worth everything. May God forgive those who will not go the second mile.

Now, in some things moderation is good, like eating, rest, recreation, exercise, and finances. But when it comes to spiritual warfare, moderation is a sin. When it comes to believing the Bible, moderation is a sin. When it comes to loving the Lord, moderation is a sin!

Suppose a wife asked her husband, “Honey, do you love me?” And he said, “Well, moderately.” She’d fix his wagon, don’t you think?

Friend, if the world considers you a “moderate” when it comes to your Christianity, you are riding the fence of lukewarmness. what ever ya do if you fall off the fence dont fall on the cold side of it.If your gona live for God and work for God why not doit the best that ya canId rather be nice and warm rather than LUKEWARM,I have to take my shirt off once and a while cause I about get overheated,,,I Love my Lord Jesus Christ Without him I fall, hes always there to pick me back up when I fail,He dusts the seat of my britches off and says give it another try,,Because Im always here to pick you back up no matter what..He will do the same for you,,,God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron,,,Need any prayer ???? Just ask because we have many PRAYER WARRIORS here on this board that will Pray for you....

God May Use Distress to Expand Your Influence

Good Mornin! I Love you all in Christian Love,,,, God May Use Distress to Expand Your Influence

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that Thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that Thine hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” - 1 Chronicles 4:10

The story of Jabez is one of a man who wanted his influence to be enlarged. God can stretch you, as well.

If you ask that God enlarge your influence, be aware of this: For the Psalmist, Psalm 4:1 says that God enlarged him when he was “in distress.” You can expect that God may use distressing circumstances to do that in you. And the pain will be worth it all.

When God enlarges you, He does so to fill you with more of Himself. Don’t be satisfied with God’s filling a small place if God wants to fill a larger place.

Are you ready to say, “God I want more. I want You to enlarge my coasts. I don’t want just a blessing. I want a blessing indeed”? We need to pray big prayers to a big God So my friends pray as big as ya can..God Loves Yous,We Love Yous ,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,from The Riverbottom ,,Ron ,,Big Prayers for you all

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

I Apologize to You God

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." —Psalm 9:17

I apologize on behalf of my nation. The United States of America has become a large Sodom and Gomorrah. I am so sorry Lord, you deserve far much better. You have blessed us with freedom, and yet we taunt your holiness by living in unrepentant sin. You gave us your precious Word, and yet we have banned It from our public school's curriculum since 1963.

Your Word teaches us to pray; yet since 1962 teachers have been legally forbidden to lead children in prayer. You teach us in your Holy Word that you lovingly formed mankind out of the dust of the earth, and breathed into us the breath of life; yet, our schools are legally required to teach children that they evolved from apes.

We are so filled with sinful pride and stubbornness in America that we have even renamed one of our most popular cities SIN CITY! Some people believe that You judged New Orleans with hurricane Katrina, which makes me wonder what's going to happen to Sin City Las Vegas? Americans, including professed Christians, can't seem to get enough of Sin City. The overall themes of Sin City are gambling and fornication. In fact, Nevada boasts of legalized prostitution. And let me tell you, What Happens in Vegas is RECORDED in Heaven! I apologize to you Lord Jesus, that we are such big hypocrites in this country.

You told us in 1st John 3:8... "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." We not only commit sin in America, we parade it up and down our streets in the form of homosexual parades and public nudity. This is what God is talking about in 1st John 3:8. Gay pride is sinful pride. In Brattleboro, Vermont, citizens are legally allowed to walk around completely naked, and they do!

There is nothing as filthy in America today as County Music Television (CMT). CMT is nothing but a bunch of whores and whoremongers who don't care about morals or decency! I'm so sorry that we treat you like garbage Lord.

Unbelievably, most of these country-music-singing-hypocrites call themselves Christians, who help produce lascivious videos to make a buck, and cause more sexual sins. We are so wicked Lord, that we even taunt your command not to commit idolatry by hosting a show called AMERICAN IDOL. Carrie Underwood sings, Jesus Take the Wheel; but her personal life is an entirely different story, having been featured in SELF-magazine.

I apologize on her behalf Lord, that she has mocked your name. Faith Hill, who has unrepentantly posed twice in Playboy, sang the Gospel hymn I Surrender All on the Oprah Winfrey show. I'm sorry for her wickedness Lord. We are a rotten bunch in America. We claim to trust in you; but we DON'T.

Woe unto America, we deserve the judgment we are bringing upon ourselves. Where is repentance? Where is sorrow over sin? Where is the guilt that we should have as a nation over our wickedness? We are a stiffnecked people, many of whom are working relentlessly to pass anti-hate speech laws to shun the truth of God's Word concerning sin. No one is trying to shun the Atheists, homosexuals, Communists or feminists. No one is trying to shun Black Muslims who spew absolutely contempt and hatred for Caucasian people. No, but they want to shun Christians who Biblically speak out against the sin of homosexuality. This nation is headed for the dust! I apologize to you Lord, for we are a woefully sinful people.

I apologize to you God for the blasphemous ads ran on Washington D.C. buses throughout the Thanksgiving holidays in 2008. We are so ungrateful for your blessings in America. I'm sorry that we spit in your face in the United States. I'm sorry that Sarah Palin and many professed Christians like her call you a liar and a war criminal. I'm sorry that most of our churches are blinded by apostasy and support tyranny. I apologize that we are stealing Iraq's oil. Sadly, we arrogantly think we can do as we please in America and don't take responsibility for our actions as a nation. We are woefully guilty.

I am sorry Lord, that we are a nation of quitters and liars. Our divorce rate is higher than any nation on earth, bar none. We Americans all exchange the same wedding vows... “For better, for worse; 'til death do us part”; BUT, then we look for excuses and reasons to justify a divorce when we want out. People do what they want to do, and then look for reasons to justify their actions, with no honest regard for the truth of your Word Lord. Evil people all across America are running around spouting, “Some marriages just weren't meant to be,” with absolutely no regard for their marriage vows, or Your Holy Word.

We have deteriorated into a nation of liars, cheaters, and promise-breakers. We have sinned as a nation! Sadly, because of the evils of feminism, women file for divorce TWICE as much as men. We have spit on you God. It is utter evil. Our lawyers, judges, and politicians are world renowned LAIRS! Our kids are taught that it's ok to lie if they cross their fingers. We are a spiritually sick people.

We are a nation of idolaters, who worship rock stars and entertainers. We ought to fall on our faces before you Lord, and repent of our idolatry. We ought to burn every rock-n-roll recording in existence (and thankfully one day they will be, as you have promised). We are a rock-n-roll nation of fornicators, who have irresponsibly flaunted Your moral laws, and as a result have caused tens-of-millions of unwanted pregnancies. In our wickedness, we have stooped lower-than-low by murdering those same children through abortion.

Isn't it convenient for us, to be able to just wash our hands of sin, and selfishly move on in our self-righteousness? We have declared it legal to disobey Exodus 20:13... “Thou shalt not kill.” We don't obey You Lord, and I apologize for the sins of my fellow countrymen. We are a nation of blood-thirsty murderers. Abortuaries exist all across America. Our political leaders have the audacity to make pompous speeches, bragging about how America is a nation that values life, when nothing could be further from the truth. Whether it be the terminated life of Terri Schiavo or the lives of the 48,000,000 aborted children—we are a nation of MURDERERS!!! We have defied Your authority God.

Ezra 9:6-7, “And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.”

I apologize to you God for the rebellion of the American people, from the United States to the island of Guam (America's furthest east territory), we have embraced sin. Our society is saturated with demonism—from hellish rock music to witchcraft, from rebellious wives to fornication, from feminism to lesbianism, from drunkenness to strip joints, from night clubs to gambling casinos, from immodestly dressed women to pornography—we have sinned against You oh Lord! The television (Hellivision) has become our god.

We are not a stupid people Lord, for we have some of the most brilliant minds in the world in our nation; BUT, rather, we are a sinful people, who are willfully ignorant of Your Truths. We are a very foolish people, and a stubborn nation. We deserve judgment, and no blessing whatsoever. How dare any American today ask God to bless America—when we LEGALLY allow pornography, prostitution, rebellious wives, divorce, gambling, drunkenness, abortion, homosexuality, gay-marriages, lesbianism, adultery, fornication, witchcraft, nudity, psychics, Girls Gone Wild, and every other form of SINFUL vile filth imaginable.

I apologize to you God on behalf of my nation, for we are a sinful people filled with stubborn pride. We are spoiled in America, having an overabundance of food and consumer goods, enjoying your wondrous blessings; YET, we thanklessly call Christmas "X-Mas," and teach our children about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny instead of Jesus. We are a rotten bunch of ingrates in America.

Jesus healed ten lepers, and only one came back to thank Him (Luke 17:12-18). Americans are amongst the nine lepers, who refuse to thank God for their blessings. We have become a gluttonous people oh Lord, eating like pigs and then searching for a drug to help us lose weight. We spend irresponsibly, and then gamble in an attempt to pay our bills. Instead of living for You Lord, Americans patronize night clubs, bars, and dance halls. We American's are infatuated with Dirty Dancing, Desperate Housewives, and Cheaters. Our TV shows curse You Lord, they make a joke of holiness, and mock the Bible.

Americans use Your Holy name in vain more than any other nation on earth. Cursing in God's name has become the insignia of Hollywood movies, and we are guilty as a nation for supporting such blasphemy (Deuteronomy 5:11). We have treated you like our enemy oh Lord, and we deserve to be punished. Please judge us Lord, for we are a stubborn people blinded by our own sinful pride. Woe unto us Americans!

Many of our top leaders are members of the demonic Bohemian Grove occult that worships Satan. This includes Presidents Ronald Reagan and both Bushs. I'm sorry Lord, you deserve better. I apologize that the average believer in America is ignorant of these things, because they are too indifferent to care about the truth. While America's churches are filled Sunday after Sunday with with professed Christians, very few are taking a Biblical stand against evil in this nation. In fact, many of our churches are part of the problem.

I apologize Lord for these disgraceful churches that are pro-abortion, and proudly march in pro-death rallies. I am so sorry that this church hired an ordained lesbian to be their associate pastor. Evidently insanity has crept into our churches, and is causing professed Christian to act crazy. Here's a pastor who thinks the murdering of 48,000,000 children is a MINOR CONCERN. Repent America!

We have sinned against you God, and I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Shame on us! I don't dare ask or expect You to bless my nation Lord, for we have abandoned You. God bless America? I think not. We have brought a curse upon ourselves Lord, by our own complacency and love for sin. Woe unto America! Even so come Lord Jesus.

"The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day." —Isaiah 2:11 HOW TRUE IS ALL OF THIS ? GOD FORGIVE US THAT DO TRY TO DO YOUR WORK.AND LIVE LIKE YOU WANT US TOO. GOD LOVES YAS,,WE LOVE YAS,,,YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,,,FROM THE RIVERBOTTOM,,,RON AFTER READING THIS ALL SHOULD SEE WHY WE NEED TO PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY...

Habits Of Happy People

Good Mornin! Its rainin her in the bottoms this mornin Cutin corn is put on hold were about done weve been cutin corn and beans both about another week of good weather will finish it . Lets get to todays message ,Habits Of Happy People,,,,,,,, I stumbled across a list someone had pulled together and put online, entitled “22 Habits of Happy People.” Inspired, I decided to write a few down a few and give my take and what GOD says about it. Then I got to thinking about Scriptural wisdom to back up the catchy phrases. Here’s what I found for the first few.

1. Let go of grudges

This piece of wisdom is undoubtedly biblical. In fact, the ideas of forgiveness and leaving vengeance up to God can be found in many places throughout the Old and New testaments. Levitical Law states,

“You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord” (Lev. 19:18).

Jesus also speaks of the necessity of forgiving each other and letting go of grudges – especially if we desire for God to dismiss our own sins.

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses” (Matt. 11:35).

2. Treat everyone with kindness

This is a beautiful, simple phrase that cuts to the heart of the golden rule. Jesus cautions,

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you” (Matt. 7:12).

God, through commands to his early followers and through his revelation in Christ, clearly values acts and attitudes of kindness and compassion. Believers are consistently exhorted to give, respect, honor, and show humility toward those around us. Perhaps the best model for kindness would, of course, be God himself. Instead of allowing humanity to perish in sin, God pursued us throughout centuries, sent his Son to walk among us, and offers salvation and reconciliation to all freely.

3. Regard Your Problems as Challenges

According to Paul,

“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Cor. 10:13).

Truthfully, life is full of problems. And not all problems can be solved. But I like the idea of regarding problems as challenges, because it’s a wonderful reminder that we have been given the power to do something. God didn’t make us fearful or incapable. He gave us a spirit of power and of sound mind (1 Tim. 1:7). If we looked at our problems more like challenges, perhaps we would be more hopeful about the future.

Intersecting Faith and Life: Have you been holding grudges? Have you been less than kind to others? Have you let yourself become overwhelmed by your daily problems? Consider developing some “Habits Of Happy People!”........... Just waking up ,Praying, Reading Gods Word ,Smileing, Thinking of good things ,Remembering old memories of those that you love Thinking of what Christ has done for you,, All of this can make your day a better day,,,God Loves Yas ,,We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From the Riverbottom Ron,,,Prayers of Love and Happyness for you all today

2 Corinthians 3:6

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

What Do You Wana Do ?

Hello Everyone !!!! God is Good ! I just wish I could be like he wants me to be.It is so hard to do that,I sometimes feel discusted with my self and just want to quit and give up even trying,It really depresses me.Now on to todays message..What Do You Wana Do God has given humans the ability to choose. We can choose to engage in our relationship with God, through Christ, or we can choose to neglect the things that it takes to keep our relationship with Him vital and energized. It is by an act of our will that we choose which direction we will go with Jesus. Will we choose not to do the things that keep us close to God, allow our relationship to drift away from Him, and possibly shipwreck our faith completely?

My prayer is that every believer will do the things it takes to grow closer to Him, and be transformed into one who exhibits the very traits of our loving Creator. The choice must be made by each of us God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayers sent for all

Excuses Or Obedience ?

Good Day Comin ! Elections over,Im glad Im tired of each person running for an office sliging dirt on the other one,Just tring to get elected. I dont think slinging dirt should be allowed in any election,if a person is talkin about someone thats gossip,,and id almost believe they would lie just to get there way. Lets get on to todays message
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” - Romans 6:22

In First Samuel 15, we read the story of how Saul failed to destroy the animals that God said were to be utterly put to death. Samuel confronted Saul about this and Saul told a lie: that he was going to sacrifice them, but he just hadn’t done it yet.

And Samuel said, “Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry” (1 Samuel 15:22-23). To rebel against the Lord “is as the sin of witchcraft” because it puts you in the realm of the devil.

When God gives a clear command from His Word, we are not to parade it past the judgment bar of our human wisdom. We are to obey whether we understand it or agree with it. It is either God’s Word or it is not. I try my hardest to live by GODS WORD DO YOU ? God Loves Yas ,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron , Prayers for you

Ephesians 1:9-10

He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

How Ya Doin Today?

Hello To All ,Man winter is here next week its suppose to be highs of 34 and lows in the teens pretty well all week O' well its winter time ,I went duckhuntin this mornin and wackedem, Duckhuntin yous to be my favorite of all huntin ,But now I spread out my huntin episodes Coonhuntin, Coyote Huntin,Deer Bow Huntin, and I Guess Im gona get back to Duck Huntin I have the best duckhuntin in Illinois right here within a quarter mile from the house... Now with my huntin out of the way lets get to todays message Renouncing the Rebel Inside

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:20

Is there stirring in your heart a spirit of rebellion today? Maybe you don’t even recognize it. But if you do, let me plead with you to do something about it right now.

Ask God to cleanse you from your desire to rebel.
Ask Him to root out the rebel in you. He is not going to remove it until you renounce it. It is your choice.
Ask Him to forgive you for the foolish and careless words you have spoken.
Ask Him to take out that spirit of rebellion against authorities.
Ask Him to teach you how to lovingly respect people when they are in the wrong.

Either you crown Jesus as Lord, or you crucify Him. Are you with Jesus today or are you against Him? Im with him everyday or try to be ,,But ya know what ??? No matter what GOD is with us everday 24 hours a day,365 days a year every year every decade every century,,Why? You might ask Because He Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day- Your Freind In Christ-From The Riverbottom,,Ron- Prayer for you all-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

No More Running from Bugaboos !

Hey all,The Weekend is here,, Now get ready for some cold !!!! Not cool but COLD Now were talkin winter time .Now on to todays message No More Running from Bugaboos!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” - 2 Timothy 1:7

God has endowed us with His power and enriched us with His love. Not only that, He has enlightened us with a sound mind. Now, this phrase “sound mind” does not mean the opposite of insanity. It actually means discipline and self-control. Along with that, it is the ability to discern between truth and falsehood.

So often, the devil gets us running from bugaboos. Proverbs 28:1 says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Have you ever heard of phobias? This is what this verse is talking about.

We must pull back the mask of darkness from the devil’s ploys and expose them for what they are and see the things that count in eternity. God has given you a sound mind by trusting in His Word, not in the devil’s schemes. The Devil can sure make things look good to us ,,What a Deciever he is... One thing we all know and that is God Loves Us,,Riverbottom Ron Loves Yas in Christian Love,,,Have a Blessed Weekend,Your Friend In Christ.,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron
