Jan-it is the only pup from her cross, we've had several offers to buy her, we will just hold on to her for now, she's worth more to us than anyone else. Our goal was to finish her before she turned 2 but she's in heat now, soon as she's out I'll be hittin hunts again with her.

Good pal, Blake Hopson and partner Jacob Cox come up to hunt this weekend. It was good havin y'all up, dogs didn't perform like we knew they could Saturday night, I figured we post some the good nights, so might as well post some the bad. Atleast we didn't freeze, coulda hunted in a Tshirt lol. I still had a blast, you boys are like family and you already know your welcome back anytime. *AFTER*DARK*KENNELS*

Had a great time bud, it's always nice escaping these hills! When I got home my hounds were really tore up I didn't bring em with me, but I told them tommorrow night we would collar Jacob up and coon hunt off him up the mountain! One thing about it, we always have fun. Most people couldn't handle the heck we give each other, and next time some boys try to whoop my tail I know ol Elmer "The Amish Assassin" will be ready to come down and take care of business!! We will be back soon buddy!

Lol, Blake since we are buddys I'm tellin you now, you need to find some more reliable transportation than Jake Cox. And your right, thick skin is a must lol, but we have a good time. And Elmer only pulls out his cage fightin skills and secret connections for his best buds, luckily I think me, you and Jacob fall in that category, lol. When your legs get tired of hiking the flat land is here waitin on ya.

Jacob, I can't grow hair on my face or chest, so I'm just fine with stayin a boy, after all I'll be a Kidd my whole life.

Roy, we'll hopefully have found some of those "dry land fish" by then and we'll bring a batch up to Walker days.

We had a whole crew out in the woods last night! JAN-IT is heat so I decided to knock some rust off Ol Janey. Last time I hunted her was last April when she got qualified for the Lee Crawford hunt. Cut her loose, gets in there and works an old track and gives the old familiar locate I love to hear, she's hooked. She had the coon and never missed a beat, knocked the coon out to her, and she follows me out and loads herself. She still has a boomin mouth, still does her job like she's supposed to. We may try to get her qualified for afew things again this year. This ol girl can still compete.

Dang I'm gettin old n forgetful already lol, we just talked about it last week. Idk if we will or not Chris. If Jan-IT is still actin right after her heat cycle, I wouldn't mind one bit. I'd take Rex but he's back in AL with Chad. If I can get Jacob to foot the entry fees, I'd take off work n try my luck. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile.

Jamie we really haven't put much thought in our next cross on her but the one the comes up every time is Zeb 3. That cross on rebel sure turned out to be a nice one!

Roy everything is good on my end. Bad news is I won't make it to walker days.
