Im really liking my male pup out of Rusty and Gretchen. I have started working him some on a cage coon and ill start carrying him.to the woods soon.This pup is extremely loud and is crazy over a coon.I still have him running loose and he has proven to be real smart and has learned basic obedience.If Red turns out like I think he will this pup will be a keeper.Ive checked out several different strains of redbones in the past few years and started several pups.Some of these redbone pups were mine and some belonged to clients of mine.Red is the first one ive been impressed enough with to want to keep him.Ill keep you posted on Reds progress as I start his training.I would recommend that anyone wanting a nice loud easy starting redbone pup definitely check out a pup out of Rusty.

Rusty pups

Little early to say for sure but Todd and I really like what we are seeing out of our dogs out of rusty and Todd's Sally female. Todd calls his male Dan and I watched him tree a tough one tonight. My female, Dan litter mate, was right there with him, but Dan did the lions share of the work. Coon was on a low leaning tree and Dan was right underneath him. Very impressive for a dog that hasn't been hunted much. In the last week Dan has been hunted three nights and he has been under 3 coons and one tree where we couldn't see the whole thing. I had badger with us tonight and he acted like he couldn't smell this one. Both Dan and sissy treed on it. That's the 2nd one they have treed together and Dan split from Todd's blue tick the other night and had the meat. Looking good!

GOOD TO HEAR THE REPORTS ON THE RUSTY PUPS,GLADE TO SEE HIS PUPS WORKING OUT IN OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY,THE 2 YOUNG DOGS I AM HUNTING OUT OF HIM ARE BOTH NITECH, I LIKE THEM AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN ANY DOG I HAVE HUNTED IN MY LIFETIME.
