Thursday, if anyone wants to meet and see RED. Thanks John

Another call

For a female to breed to RED! Can`t wait to see what 2 years from now looks like for REDS offspring. We might have 100 pups on the ground by Christmas! 48 pups on the ground now and 4 females bred!!!

I think red's future is pretty bright. He, his litter, and his ancestry all pass the homework test that will satisfy most breeders out there today to consider before breeding to a stud. I am satisfied that he and his littermates should all reproduce. Good luck and continued success with red in the future....Shane

Tom Solberg wrote this about Rabble Rouser

``Rabble Rouser was what I'd call a medium to deep hunter but always hunted what we put him in...no straight line running until he found a coon. He had what I'd call a cold nose. He would strike first or second and then would put some distance between where he struck and when he opened again. He'd cover a lot of ground in between barks but always open enough to enjoy the chase. He located with a warbling bawl on cold tracks and a screaming bawl on hot tracks and then would roll over to a steady chop. You'd always find him with both front feet on the tree and looking straight up the wood. When he knew you were close, his tail would be waggin' hard and you could hear it and see it that he was happy to see you.

He was full of coon sense just like his sire and grand sire...you didn't often look at an empty tree and if you did, it was an honest den or crossing. In competition if he located and treed, there was a coon there but if he located with other dogs but didn't get to treeing, it didn't matter how the other dogs were blowing it down...there was no coon in the tree. When the tree was checked and the dogs led away, you'd hear him in the distance treed and with the coon.

He was honest, didn't have a mean bone in his body, was good looking and just a great disposition. You could put any pup with him and under any circumstances and he'd always let them get on the tree or have the coon and never a mean moment...never!

If these young dogs develop any of the good traits that he had, folks will enjoy a top hound for a long time to come.``

As I read this, I thought it sure sounds like my RED dog. Wished I could have seen old Rabble Rouser go!!!!

Thanks guys

Could have scored even a little more on Friday, but I was a little slow on the gun a couple times. Had a 3 dog cast and it was like a competition hunters dream! Most of the drops were bang bang, Red got in deep one time by himself and had the meat and also had another split tree in close. We seen and scored every coon!!! Feels pretty good to be in the winners circle, never won a BIG hunt before. Closest big win was in 1999 when we won 1st place in the Thursday Night all Red hunt at American Days. We won then with a dog I owned called NITECH Deepwoods Northern Giz.

Feeling very blessed to own RED, would like to thank Tom Solberg and Travis Sterkis for breeding this fine hound. Dan Rankin for allowing me to own him, and for all of the friends I have met through hunting these reddogs; but most of all would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for his favour in my life.

Blessing Pastor John Dell

Might

Take Red to a couple of Purina point hunts, in NY and Oh and see if we could get some more points. Its a little late in the year, but who knows?

After winning

The Canadian Autumn Open Red is looking for a few nice girlfriends that can get her done right like him!!!

Talked with Allen Tatum

today and he said PARIS is getting really big already, she is due in the first part of October. This will be the second time she is crossed with RED. I think the first cross is going to prove to be the best crosses to date that we have made with RED! At least thats by the reports I have been getting back!!
