This was one of my most memorable hunts for several reasons. I was hunting in Canada with my hunting partner Brian and it was 9 degrees F that morning. This was the fourth lion we had caught in nine days, and it was also the biggest one I had ever saw. He weighed 177 lbs and his skull was officially scored at 15 4/16 B&C.

This picture is of Snapshot and her daughter Blitz treed on a bobcat. Blitz was about 15 months on this hunt and had been doing a nice job for me. But it was on this hunt that I realized she was going to be something special.

this hunt was awesome. This was Idaho Lightfoot Coby's first lion caught by herself. Cat scores 15 3/16 official score.

Memorable

This night was one of the most memorable for me becuase it was my birthday and the last time I ever hunted with Ann before she passed. Also I love this picture of Buck which was taken on the same tree as the Ann dogs photo.

I got one more

Its not as memorable as the other one but it is memorable to me now more so too than it was at the time. The reason being i have a young male dog off of these two that im really liking alot. Also for the fact that the RocksAnne dog isnt with us anymore either. This tree they got this coon in was the last tree that coon wanted to be in. When we got to the tree that coon immediately started climbing down as you can tell by the dogs just watching him. Trust me this isnt how these dogs would normally tree.....lol. This tree wasnt much more than 15 feet tall. hope yall enjoy. The tri color dog is our male dog Chance and the redtick female is Rocksanne. Oh yeah Rocksanne is 12 in this picture.

I finally got the picture scanned from my most memorable hunt.

Brisco had just turned 2 that year and it was his first cat season since he had been sick the previous year. We had taken him and Tex and Mabel to eastern Oregon. We had gotten a call from a friend who worked on a large cattle ranch that they were getting hit often by a cat. So we were lucky to do some damage control.

Long story short after the dogs cold trailing for about 4 hours we had to run in for more fuel. When we got back we realized the dogs had split. Brisco treed in one spot and Tex and 6 month old Mabel in another. Brisco was closest so we hit him first. He had held that cat by himself for about another 5 hours

He proudly had this big ol' tom treed. I was thrilled with him.
Brisco is the red headed Walker in the middle. It was his big start to being a super big game dog.

Tex and Mabel's cat kept jumping and we finally got them caught when they crossed a creek. They got to have their pictures taken with me and Brisco...
