Pitino was on the brink of creating a his own dynasty UK. Final 4 in 95, Nat'l Champs in 96, Runner ups in 97. He was getting the best players in America....IE, Ron Mercer, Antoine Walker, ect. He had the train rolling at that point in time and had he stayed at UK, could have continued that success in years to come. Its hard for any coach to build something like that one time in their careers, much less two times. It isn't that Rick is or is not a good coach, its about the players you recruit.....

No we didnt, but we finally got rid of Matt Doughtery, no wait a minute, Tubby, last year, so I think things will get better Soon.
