Had a good night all by herself.
First drop she hunted out good and covered almost a mile and never got a bark. we loaded up and headed to the river for another try. Again she hunted out hard and good. She found something dead to eat on about 230 yds, and I got her off that and she went left handed and got struck within 20 yds. she tapped a tree pretty hard, and then worked it out and got hooked with the meat. 2 eyes lookin straight down.
It's hard huntin around here with lots of rain comin down and the Kittens are startin to get out and wonder around.
I was very happy with her performance tonight, and will be carrying her up to Grandview, In saturday night for a Redbone sectional.

We hunted friday and saturday night and We had a great time down in west Tn.
It was real dry and the huntin was rough. Friday night I ended up withdrawing. After 2 drops of hard huntin and 1 circle tree she was burnin up and the guide wasn't taking us to any water so I had to make the call for her, before something bad could happen. I hated to do it but it jus ain't worth takin a chance IMO.

Saturday night was much better.
We still had some hard huntin and I found out that Roxy will not stay in the ground. I treed her in quick on the second drop and well needless to say she was in the ground. But she redeemed herself and got treed again with meat. Sad to say that was the only tree we made the whole night, so I finished out at zero and 175+ won our cast. But the cast was real impressed with the way she got by herself and went huntin, and the way she handled when the 2 times I had to call her in over 400yds out both times.

This little female does not lack tree power or drive either on. If she can't find a coon in this woods she will go till she does.

Thanks Jon for the call and I agree with you as hard and fast as she tree's you need to be hunting where there is water and were you can get to her fast or she might over heat. If you decided to go to NRD let me know and keep watching how hot it is and be sure to watch her close it about time for her to come in season. I will call you later and thank you.

They hired me on permanent at werk tonight, so there shouldn't be any reason why I can't make it up there.
I'm gonna call The POC before I go to check how bad the lack of water to hunt around is up there.

Jon i will give you a call tomorrow and let you know what time Saturday Morning I will try to meet you. Still not sure I will breed her this timeor waite until next. I also may sell her since I have had the 2nd operation on this left knee and still have the right one to go.

Had Roxy out with Jim tonight for the time since came in heat back on Jun 26th. It is hot and muggy tonight and the temp is 79 right now at 3am.

They were both a lil slow to go, but once they did Jim got struck quick. Roxy put in with him and they hammered the track hard for 486 yards where Roxy put a end to it. She threw 2 big locates and rolled over to choppin hard, and like always had the meat lookin down when I got there.
I couldn't ask for anything better outta her comin back from bein laid up in this hot weather.

Tom I'm gonna give you a call tomorrow. I need to get your address to send her DNA kit so you can fill it out and sign it.

She did a bang up job for just coming off of a heat cycle. Especially for it being so hot and not been able to go in it as it has gradually gone up in temperature. She sounded good on the phone when you called Jon.

Jon is doing a darn good job on keeping Roxy tuned up. When it gets down to a reasonable temperature he'll have her rollin' in the hunts as hard as humanly possible.

I'm going to be doing the same with Jack. So we might even draw out against each other. =)

Had a good hunt tonight by herself. we cut out along a big corn field, and it didn't take her long to roll in about 300yds and get struck. It was cold cold lay up coon and after about 15min, of grubbin she finally got treed on a big leanin tree with 2 kittens sittin up high.
I couldn't have ask for anything better on a cold track with no help at all.

Roxy has been doin a stand up job the couple months. She came in heat June 26th and was out, then I been pleasure huntin her and gettin her tuned back up. I do believe she is ready to rock n roll now. We will find out saturday night at a local club hunt.

Here are some pics and video's of her progress.

There isa picture of one of Roxy's pup pn under the heading Synoviaus. The one's I have keep up are doing good from this litter. The Sire of this Pup is the Male Rod Thomas owens called Bear. He is timber copper,Timber Jack kin to the Rebel Dog.
The fist litter have done well off our old Male that is Saline Rat,Revern Red and a lot of Danny McCleskey's boodline.
She is reproducing go huningpups and I belive they will do ok on the bench.

We ain't been seeing any coons up this way. She ran antreed good Saturday night but when I treed her she left it high n dry for 125- never seen a coon all night
