Folks I got the chance to hunt with this fine Leopard last Saturday nite and he's the real deal and I plan on getting some of his blood in my Kennels before long! He looks good and will get in the dark in a hurry and does it right and the young female we hunted out of him looked good to!!!!! Thanks again Jess for taking us hunting!

Pups!

We have two litters on the ground and they will be ready for pickup or shipping within a week or two. All of the merle pups from both litters have been sold! We still have a few solid black and black and tan pups available though. We are lowering the price on them to $300 each or $500 for a pair. All pups have been wormed and vaccinated. All pups are UKC registered and Performance Nominated and are also eligible for our personal incentive program as outlined above. At this price buy a pup hunt it nice and hard, make a night champion out if it and make your money back or even double it if you are the first one. Shine is reproducing extra good. A pup out of his first litter has a first and second place win and needs one more cast win to make nite champion as a one year old! There are several other young dogs out of that litter that are almost ready to hit the hunts as well. One pup out of his second litter just treed his first solo coon at just eight months old! The same pup also beat out 34 other hounds in a treeing contest spitting them off at 104 barks per minute!

Possibly.... we have a really nice female bred but she is not far along enough yet to know for sure if she took. We have pups on the ground now and could possibly arrange to hold one until then and deliver it to A.O.

I have been wanting to try a leopard out up here in NY. There are none around here to see go. From what I have read about them they seem to be what I would like to hunt.

There is a nice young Shine dog up there in NY somewhere's..... I will have to talk to Jess abd find out for sure but I believe the guys name is Greg Lamps and he has a blue merle male from the first litter.

Shine is reproducing! I would be more than happy to provide anyone with a list of satisfied Shine pup owners. Give them a call and find out what they think about their pups. He only has one litter over a year old and already has produced a Nite Champion! He has several other pups that will be hitting the hunts next spring. Come for a hunt and we will turn 'ol Shine loose as well as a pup or two out of him. The next oldest litter already has a few fire crackers as well! If you have been thinking about breeding to Shine give us a call, our goal is to have Shine breed some of the nicest females around, and we will go out of our way to accommodate your top females.

Live covering females

I have heard from a few different people that they thought Shine was unable to live cover a female due to his amputation. I would just like to assure everyone that he can and will still live cover a female without any problems. So far he has sired four litters out of four different females without any trouble since he lost his leg.

Loosing that leg hasn't slowed him down a bit. Judged and guided Jess at a Slam and he was deep enough on time out that the hour darn near got him.

Free Stud Service for 2014

We will be offering Shine's stud service for live cover breedings free of charge for 2014. Shipping frozen or fresh chilled semen is still an option but we would ask for you to cover all costs involved with collection and shipping. All that we require for live cover breedings is a negative brucellosis test. We firmly believe that Shine can and will be an asset to the breed, however with us living so far away from the mainstream coonhunting world we realized that utilizing him in a breeding program is difficult for many people. We would rather you spend your money getting your females too and from our house than on a stud fee. We would be more than happy to board your female for you free of charge for as long as necessary to make sure the breeding happens. Send your female out a little before she is due to come in heat and we will kennel her and allow Shine to breed her every other day for as long as she will stand for him. Feel free to give us a call with any questions.

Shine

Took Shine in to the vet and got him collected this morning and shipped a breeding of chilled fresh semen to Missouri. Kinda funny, Shine on his three legs and then my teaser bitch also only has three legs! It is much easier to collect a male if you have a teaser bitch who is in heat so if anybody wants to pay to get him collected over the next week or so I have a teaser female in heat and ready. Give us a call.
