Elmo yes we are going to move to Sedalia.
Denise is all ready working down there at
the Tyson plant. She is looking for use a place
to live. Yes some of my dogs are getting some
age on them Angel is 10 Timber and Guinea Sue
are 8 Holly is 6 and Jay Hawk is 4. I bred Timber
to Holly so should have pups this weekend.
This will be the first litter I raised in 8 years
lots of old uchtman.

This is a nice hound everyone, Magic is as nice as they come and has looks to spare. I have hunted with many of these hounds Elmo has bred and raised and I can tell you one thing they all do a very nice job treeing coons. Magic is a chip off the same block for sure, just a very nice coondog that deserved to be titled out and glad Elmo did so. Elmo I hope you are able to land a few more females to back up to him.

Good hunt with Hank Taber tonight

I went to pick up Magic so we went for a couple of drops.
Hank took Sugar.
Dogs split up Magic got treed on a layup and had the meat.
Sugar covered him but didn't like the tree much.
Next drop Magic wanted to be a road monster so I tried to catch him only to have him run faster and away from me.
Well 600 yard down the creek he got treed and had two put that tree.
Last drop both dogs treed and it was no coon seen. We called it a night!

Well got all the pictures taken of the dogs on the wood. I hope they turn out. I plan on putting a ad in the BBCHA AND BBOA Bluebooks this year.
I'm off all next week so I will dance, hunt and fish my way through the week.

Tigers play Florida next Saturday for homecoming to I hope we do well.
Georgia will be a tough nutt to crack this Saturday. I hope well look respectable at the least.

I sure hope so! All we can do is try to cross the best to the best we can find or believe in! The rest is up to the hunters who own them.
One thing for sure it doesn't matter what dogs are out of if people don't take them to the woods they will never be what they are suppose to be.'
I'm hoping good things if she took. One month to go and we shall see.

He has a great story of his own. As most of you know I went hunting on night last year and my GPS went to ? on Magic. I was near a junk pile but I didn't see or hear a thing. I looked for that dog for 9 days straight with the GPS still taking me back to the junk pile. Well on the 11th day a lady calls and says I think we have your dog. I said if you called me yes you do. She told me he was so skinny and looked real bad and they put him in a pen. I tell you what my truck couldn't get there fast enough he was 3 miles as the crow flies in the same section. That dog heard me pull up and he couldn't have been more happy to see me as I him. Well I checked the GPS and it was fine and I'm still using it today. I have no idea what or where that dog went. He was the last of that stock of dogs and I wanted so bad to raise a litter from. He is a coondog and a I'm glad I found a gyp worthy of breeding him too. Anyway that is his story. The dog can tree layups cold feed tracks running coons split tree and he will stay put. This dog knows how to find a coon and doesn't have to go miles to do so even though he will if he has too.

Season right around the corner

Going to enjoy and good training season with Magic and Lumber. I hope Maggie will be with pups but she is a month away so we shall see if I have Magic Jr in this litter

I thought I was going to Iowa on Nov 1 but MU plays Tenn on the second here so I won't be making my early Nov. trip this year.
I will go to Kansas this Nov to run some more of those Flint Hill coons with Roger and Brian. May also be in Topeka for a hunt with my buddy Scott Sweeney.

I'm too trashy for my own good! My little project seems to be doing better every night in the woods so he keeps me motivated some.
Just have to work one dog at a time and finish them one at a time. Tough when you don't have extra handlers to take dogs to hunts. Oh well I will finish them in due time. Maybe not as quick as I'd like but none the less finished.
