Thanks. One of those beautiful pups will be going home with you soon enough. lol. Yes, I'll probably do that in a week or so once they start coloring up more. Right now I couldn't tell you which ones are what just by looking at them. They are a solid built group of pups. Usually by this age I will have spotted one or two that will stand out a little from the rest but these are as a group a very nice bold acting litter.

Are they going to Autem Oaks? If there not might be interested in a female.

Bill Goode has offered to take pups to Autumn Oaks for me but it would have to be a sure thing and a quick transfer. I wouldn't want Bill's time spent baby sitting or selling my pups.

Doe's it look like any of the females are going to blanket back?

Posted by ov_blues on 07-29-2014 09:39 PM:

The only one in the litter that was blanket backed is a male.

Yes, i can hardly wait to get him home! Is the runt a male or a female?

Posted by ov_blues on 07-30-2014 02:34 AM:

The runt is a female. I'll post a picture of the runt of Max's litter after she grew up. Couldn't tell any difference between her and her littermates. There are sure some big headed pups in ths litter. I like that.

The female on the lead strap, Bell, was the runt of the litter that Maxamillion was born in. Her sister, and Max's, is on the tree. My Dad gave Bell to a friend of his and she was shown a coon hide once or twice and wasn't fooled with other than that. I bought her back when she was about a year and a half old and the first time I took her hunting was with David Smith and his Jewel female, her sister. We turned them loose and they took off. Jewel struck and treed and we got to this big tree she was treed on. We hadn't seen Bell and didn't know where she was at when this big mouthed hard chop mouth dog started blowing the top out of the tree on the back side of it where I couldn't see. I went around the tree and it was Bell.

Molly on the left, another sister of Max's. This was her 7th night in the woods and she had first and first on the Gr Nt Snap female and the other male in the picture and they had the meat.

If she caught I will have a another litter of pups in a couple of months but they are from different bloodlines than these pups. They will be performanced. You can see that cross on the Ohio Valley Kennel thread on the Bluetick Stud dog and Kennel Promotions forum.

I bred a female that goes back to some older blood to Gr Ch Gr Nt Ch Niangua River Mad Dog Ranger. It will be a combination of several different bloodlines. Unless she has a gang of pups, none will be for sale for awhile until I get a chance to look them over and make some observations.

Bubba D's Blues

Sent you a PM. If you want to come hunt with Max and Snapper just let me know. She'll be back in the brush here in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to her not being in heat in late summer thru early winter where I can hunt her the way that she needs to be hunted. She was looking good right before she came in heat and was bred.
