I think common sense also on check area . You think hounds and hunting
These should be hunting dogs . If i have to go a 100 yards to pick up a check
Before you know it youve missed a lot of hunting ground . Ive heard people on here what smaller circles because our areas are small here in the east and then what checks score a hundred yards away seem like they just what to score there dog. Again commen sense and hunting with them not chasing them down three football fields away after 3 checks

I've got an addition to my last post. Just a little food for thought. 75% plus are running HARE dogs on cotton tail. Or have hare dogs crossed in to our blood. That is just common sense the check is going to get much larger than some of the old blood from 20 years ago. It's all about the STYLE of dog your running.
