I just got a pic of the plaques!!! They are finished and we are going to go pick them up Friday night. These plaques are UNREAL!!!! Cant wait for everyone to see them!!! We will post pic after we pick them up Friday!!!!

The West Virginia State Hunt will also be a Purina Supported Event, Thanks to the Nestle" Purina Company for their support of the UKC Hunting Dog Programs.

1st class work!

Alot more easy to look at and way more classy than those cheap plastic trophies that I use to see at events years back! Nice detailed craftsmanship right there! Looks like the Makings of great things to come from these fellows!

My dad worked very hard on these plaques about 15 to 20 hours on each one of these. One is out of Cherry and the other is out of Maple!!

He is already thinking about next years plaques. If everyone likes these he is thinking about making next years 3 to 4 foot tall. With something new for the design!!!! You would need a Dolly to move them if he makes them that big lololol. These should be the best Plaques/ trophies that you have every see at a Hunt!!!

Please come and support the West Virginia State Hunt!!!!

Taylor Co Fairgrounds. From I-79 take Jerry Dove Drive and turn onto 279 towards US RT 50. Turn left on US RT 50 and go approximately 8 miles to fairgrounds on the right.

State Hunt Location Confirmed

The WV State HB Championship wil be held March 14 & 15, 2015 at the Taylor County Fairgrounds near Grafton, WV follow the directions posted on this thread by Allen G.; thank you Josh, Cody and Jeremy and the Tri-Cty BC as well as all others who have helped organize and donate to this upcoming event.

State Hunt

I Haven't hunted in any UKC hunts for several years for various reasons but I'm planning on hunting in this one.I promised my good friend Fred Hawkins that I would do a hunt this year and this is it.I hope that this is just the beginng of my return to trials.It looks like these young guys are really working hard on this and I would be willing to help out as much as I can.

WV State Hunt

I'm really glad to hear that so much work has went into this hunt thus far. I truly believe that the numbers will reflect the amount of work the club and volunteer's are putting into this hunt. Having a large turnout makes the hunt more pretigous and will make people want to attend. Are you going to be able to update this thread with the donations that you have recieved and the prize packages that will be awarded?

Once I have all the prizes together I'll post a full list. We are working on getting a few more prizes, hopefully by the end of February I'll be able to post the prize package. It's looking like we will be approaching $3000 in prizes with $950 of that being cash. We will also be raffling off a couple nice items, I'll have all the details within the next week or two.

The WV State Championship hunt is now listed in the Upcoming Events, note that the Contact, Directions and Location are no longer correct and will be corrected ASAP. Please follow the directions on this thread to the Taylor County Fairgrounds on March 14 & 15, 2015 if attending the WV State Championship.
