I got a female off of coon waxer. Have you bred anything that close yet? And what were the results if you did?

No. I have just recently decided it was time to put him at public stud. At this time I have not made any crosses like that but I have a couple females here that I plan on breeding that are going to be pretty tight like yours. Maybe a little tighter. I like your idea and thinking. I appreciate your questions and interest in Deamon and really hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again!

I'm very interested in this cross. Just got to make my mind up whether or not I want to breed her. But if I do breed her it would be a tight cross like this!

Couldn't go wrong with a cross like that

Do you have semen on him or just live cover?

if you make this cross I will defiantly want one. I have a female here out of mt top wax that is a powerhouse coondog just bred her to mojo mason would like to have one of these to cross back on.

Yes I do have some semen available to ship if this makes it more convenient for anyone. Thanks I should have mentioned that.

Shawn what is the dams name of your female off of Mountain Top's Wax? Just curious. There was only about a hundred pups out of him so I am a little familiar with most of them. Thanks for your interest in these dogs and good luck with those pups on the way!

Thanks! I remember breeding your dogs mother Dream when I had Waxer here for Russell and Bob. I am not able to remember the breeders name right off but he came from Mississippi I believe. Dream was a nice looking female that seemed to have a good personality. I know of a couple mates that made nice hounds from that litter. I also have a close friend that owned the ole Tysons dogs littermate sister. He actually called her Sister. If he had the opportunity to resurrect one dog it would be her.

My female's registered name is Bama's late round prissy.

The owner of her dam was Scott Morgan.

I like her. She has lots more drive than I got. I haven't taken her hunting and not had a coon looking back. She might get deep but she'll be treed somewhere with the meat. She's never been in a UKC hunt. But she has some $$ won in $kc.

Posted by STallent on 10-26-2015 11:14 PM:

Yes. I remember Prissy as a pup. Gib Layman raised her from a weaning age puppy and was able to get her lightly started. He told me his grandchild named her. Lol. I think from there Stanley Johnson from Jasper, Tennessee had her and hunted her for awhile. Stanley told me she was going to make a nice dog. I never knew where she went from there. I am glad she has made a nice dog and has a good home.

Posted by novicane65 on 10-27-2015 12:32 AM:

I got her from a buddy in Arkansas. He had prissy and a bone female he was looking at possibly selling. I never hunted her before I bought her. But we've known each other for a few years and I know he's a straight shooter.
I asked a few questions to him before I made up my mind which one would fit my hunting style a bit better. And she hunts exactly the way he said.

I've been wondering how she got that name.
