New Breed

The Cross bred hounds I've been around had great confirmation. If color is not a factor or determined, the cross bred dogs may have an unfair advantage over the pure breds in the bench show, I would think.

How about Extra Trashy depression era sportsman hounds. thats what my x-breeds are. crossbreeds out of crossbreeds.

I wonder if Sawblade ever had any luck with his breeding program for a pretty high tan American Coonhound?

Your proposal does not make any distinction between 1) dogs being intentionally crossbred 2) accidental cross breedings 3) dogs of unknown ancestry and 4) purebreds with dq faults. XBred seems a better fit to be all-inclusive. Your proposal seems like a fit for category 1 above. To me anyway? Thoughts?

X Breed

I've got two females that are 4 months old, one is redbone colored, one is black&tan both are super loud. Their mother is a ukc registered, redbone out of the Grnnitech Walnut Boone, their sire's littermate brother placed 1st and 2nd at this years walker days, the walker brothers are out of Mo-jo Mason, both parents are hard tree dogs, some in the litter, are already treeing squirrels. There are in the process of being litter registered ukc x-bred, i'd say that most of the litter, should make real coon treeers. This was an accidentle breeding.

X=BRED

I 've also got a ukc registered x-bred, she's a high tan, real pretty dog, has a low mouth around the house, low mouth on track, explodes, on the tree, with a real loud chop. Her sire was Grnnitechj Honey Creek Spider, a walker, her mother was Nitech Knovack's Flo IV, a black&tan she has litter mates, that are real nice coon dogs.

High Tan

Jovember, has tan above her eyes, tan on her front legs, tan on her hind legs, she has a black saddle, that's my definition, of a high tan. When she was 7 months old, she found a possum, Goldie was an older, bigger female, she tried to take, Jovember's possum. Jovember said, no that's my possum, and you ain't takeing it. Now she likes to tree coons, with a big loud chop mouth, her track mouth is real quiet, low volume, which i thought was strange, most X-bred hounds, have real pretty mouths, real pleasant to listen too.
