Same here Ben. I have had the pleasure of hunting with ole Sam many nights myself. He is all coon dog no doubt. From what I see and hear his pups have the same qualities. Proud of Robbie and Sam.

Yes I agree with Hat Creek ... 👍🏻 Because without the cross we wouldn't be here right now .... I just found yesterday their has been another great cross that was made in similar fashion that by way of a good friend I am already booked for a female ..... GO SAMBO

Jody Eubank and his dad Bubba are a big part of this cross, they own Bad Habit Bandit, who is a fantastic reproducer. He throws great hounds in every litter. We knew what kinda cross the Bad Habit and Fly female produced so we figured we'd try it and it worked out. When my female would come into heat I would go grab Bandit and hunt him for the Eubanks and I really liked how he operated and he had traits similar to my female and some that my female was lacking a bit so he was who I wanted to breed to. Some bluetick guys felt I was a traitor lol but it was best cross outta my female

Sam's first night in the woods treed real wild coon at 6 months old. Natural from the start. Bandit throws that in his pups.

The thing that stands out in my mind about this special X-breed hound is how he won at all the other big $KC's. He has won at the highest level regardless... impressive indeed. Go Robbie and Sambo!

I think its hilarious that in a mere few years of existance, the x breds have made the final four of the ukc world. Something several "official" breeds have struggled to do with any regularity since they became breeds.

Congrats to Sambo and all involved. You know Casey the Double Awt Nuck dog that won the 2012 Spring Junior Superstakes was bred similar to Sambo. Nuck's mama was out of the Bad Habit/Fly cross. Nuck's sire was also Walker/Bluetick cross. Good luck tonight guys. I'm pulling for the X Bred!

It is official
it only took 35 minutes for the pbp to tell us the black female took a tree minus when the 2 caught her

It wasn't very pretty for any of the three other than Sam splitting with a coon right off the bat

I guess it only matters who is ahead when the last second ticks off the clock

Congrats to all 3 for making it to the finals and CONGRATS to Sambo for being the 2017 UKC WORLD CHAMPION!
