Thank you Steve Bankston and misty rivers for the compliments on hope for buzz he has turned into a very nice hound and misty river we don't have any pups on the ground out of buzz right this moment but have him breed to a boomer female and pups are due the first of December so really looking forward to those should be a great cross

Young dog I have at the house that I call Big Dave is coming along nicely. Trees his own coon, only been to the woods with another dog a handful of times and doesn't pack up, wants to do his own thing. He is a big dog (lives up to his namesake) and has caught 3 coons on the ground. Turned 10 months old on the 14th. He is loud and smart to boot.

Well Rocky Cundiff made an offer on Big Dave and after a lot of thought I think that it is best for Dave to go so he can be promoted the way he should be! I know there are big things for Dave in the future and I am glad he is at a good home. Good luck with him fellas!

I am picking up a female who is directly outta Bocephus and a Boomer female. I plan to hunt her in some hunts and breed her to Buzz when she comes in. This will double up on Bo and Boomer, plus the sprinkle of Smokey River, hopefully get gone, get deep and have the coon type dogs!

Buzz puppies hitting the ground in about a month. Have a few females we are waiting to come in heat. Duncan and I are looking to produce hard going, hard tree dogs that are accurate. We hope that Buzz produces these qualities in his offspring. He is only 3 but with how he performs in the woods and his pedigree of reproducers behind him we did not want to wait to find out! If we can be a help to anyone please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us.

Picked up Ivy yesterday and I am very happy with her so far. Good temperament and hasn’t been a barking fool in the kennel. Looking forward to hunting her this kill season until she comes in heat.

I like the way Ivy is bred Mark and she’s a good looking hound. Buzz is bred to reproduce from reproducers and am
sure he will throw loud, get gone, Natural tree dogs. When you make that cross don’t forget me. Would love to have a female pup and see how she does down here. Good luck to yaw with all the plans and your hounds in the future.

First litter of Buzz puppies is due this week. The bitch is outta Boomer and Knob Creek Sadie who is heavy Fly bred. Will post updates. We have had a lot of interest in Buzz puppies. Obviously depends on what she has. Just praying her and her pups do well at this time.

Duncan and I are excited to say Lucy had 8 healthy looking Buzz pups last night (Thanksgiving Pups). Lord willing momma and puppies stay healthy and they are a credit to the breed!

mark if i remember sadie had her first litter on christmas--that litter had some very nice dogs including lucy--may be a good sign--hunted with buzz couple weeks ago--he is really nice . good luck with this litter..

That’s right. Sadie and boomer produced very nice dogs including my favorite Pig along with Birdie and Jake.

Buzz is once again paid up in Performance for 2021. Him and Hannah are signed up for winter classic. We still have a female not spoken for and can bring the pups to Batesville if interested let me or Duncan know.

Hannah and Ivy looked good tonight. Weather supposed to get pretty rough for a few nights so we may stay around the house but it’ll warm back up after Christmas. Merry Christmas from our kennel to yours!

Pups started leaving this weekend. Good luck to everyone who bought a Buzz pup, we appreciate it! We are keeping a nice male from the litter and we are excited about him.

Hannah pups turn 4 months old on the eleventh and some are already treeing with older dogs and running some tracks.

Buzz is again a performance sire. If you are interested in seeing a good one go or breeding that nice female give myself or Duncan a call! We appreciate everyone's support with this young hound.

Duncan and Buzz doubled up at the Etown PKC legacy hunt last night. Proud of this team and I appreciate all the work and time Duncan has put into making Buzz a top hound!

Winter classic

Duncan will be heading down with Buzz and Ivy Thursday for the winter classic. I’ll be there Friday. We will be hunting both nights. If you wanna see buzz in person just let us know! Looking forward to catching up with old friends and making a few new ones.

Buzz did not end up winning his casts Friday or Saturday but he could not have operated better! Some times the chips don’t fall your way. Ivy doubled up this weekend and we couldn’t be more proud of her. She’s all coondog! Had great casts each night and UKC did a great job as always... except for Allen calling me Merle over the speakers Sunday morning haha.

Hannah and Ivy both picked up a little money last night. First time having Hannah out in 2 months. Looking forward to getting her ready for the TOC.

Hannah and Jack pups showing promise. Most will tree a drag or turn loose coon, one has treed a wild coon alone already. They turn 6 months old today.

Good news and some not so great news.Buzz and Ivy pups will hopefully be born late May! Really looking forward to this cross, this will be his second litter. Buzz picked up a little PKC money the other night in a tough cast. He is treeing coons consistently and hopefully does his thing at the TOC.

Hannah has come into heat less than two weeks before the TOC so she will not be able to hunt in it. Disappointing, but that's what happens with females!
