Keith, good to hear from you. Haven't got the work done to those fences yet, but I don't have any dogs in those pens..

Glad you are getting Fritz. I hope she does well for you and can be a good lead dog for your upcoming pups.

Here is some of the video. it's not great. I should have been videoing while she was on track but I didn't then all the sudden she located and if I had been videoing, I may have been close enough for the microphone to pick it up. Either way, by the time I had got to the tree and found the coon, Frog was already getting hot and plus, after a few minutes at a tree, she will hush and wait for the sound of the gun, so sometimes it's not to exciting once you tie her up..

there are two clips, one is about a minute, the other is about 4 minutes.....if you look hard, you'll see the coon on top of the forked branch.

Nice job Mike...I especially liked the theme music playing in that first video clip You must have had Buck in the background with an iPod or something...right on time...Rocky theme...heck of a deal!

Frog sounds good...I kind of like it when they save their energy like that while we're looking for the coon. She's got a great mouth for a female and is developing into a nice dog.

Little more work on the camera man part and by golly...you'll have it down pat...eh?

Mike, that's pretty cool. Lucky sounds good, has her mom's tree mouth.

Does your running season go out? I'd like to get together, maybe come up in a few weeks and take a hunt, our last soccer game is on May 14th.

You and Buck are more than welcome to come down for a hunt. I'll call you later on today.

Rocky Theme

Tom......actually, the Rocky theme is my cellphone's ringtone... Allison was calling me back because I had forgot which button to push to record. I figured it out and she called about 50 seconds into the video. The next minute is what we edited out because obviously the conversation could be heard. Yea, Frog doesn't waste any energy once she thinks I am going to shoot. I got some more video last night, got part of the track, the locate, the rollover, then she kept going and treed in a den but she did a horrible job at it so I didn't take any video at that tree. oh well.

Noah, I think our chase does go out at the end of may but I think they did approve to leave it open but I don't think that starts until next year. Richard is right, you should come down sunday or monday. Either way, we'll try and get together.

Hunt with Haze

Pastor Mike, I am not sure how far you are from me but I would love to get together for a hunt before it gets so hot. If you ever go down to Noah's give me a call. I know where he is and it would be a good opportunity for us to get together for a hunt. I saw Noah's post on here and it is good to know he is still alive and kicking! I don't think we Psycho Carolina boys are good enuff for him anymore Take care and keep'em RED!

How you doing ; I made the trip up to pa yesterday to meet Chris and picked up fritz , he sure is a fine looking hound just sitting here waiting for dark so I can hit the woods. I'm going to a local hunt tomorrow night just to tag along on a cast yall got any plans to go to either the in pulaski or Christiansburg this month ?

Donnie, it would be good to get together. we have somewhat of a get together this weekend but it starts on sunday evening cause Richard is to scared to hunt the RQE... I'm sure we will try and get with Noah at some point so that would be good.

Keith, glad you got Fritz. How did he look last night? I am hitting the check hunt tonight, I will be at Christiansburg tomorrow evening to help at the club, not sure if I am hunting or not.

Frog has had a one night break after hunting four straight nights. I may take her late tonight, we'll see, we are expecting more severe thunderstorms.

yes richard, Haze should get on the list after a few more months. He has several pups with first place wins.....just nothing that has finished yet. Hopefully, folks will get those pups in the hunts and get those the cast wins necessary to finish them out.

Frog did a exceptional job on having her coon by herself also

I got some video that I will try to get on here tomorrow night. I think Buck got a pic of Moose and Haze beside each other but their mouths were not open.....just a split second to late I guess....I'm sure buck would post it on here.
