We had a great time. Toby won bmos on the bench and Maddie won Ch female. Toby lacks 5 pts to be a dual ch. We will be in Lawley this weekend. We had fun catching up with friends and the winners did a good job and deserved the wins. Congradulations to all the winners.

It looks like 911 is pregnant. We crossed her with Tonto. She is starting to show now. If any of our friends and team mad dog members are interested let me know.

Why do some people complicate the simplest things? It's like they can't see the forrest for the trees. Some things are just not that complicated. Dealing with stubborn people is just hard. Lord please give me wisdom and patience this week. I feel better now. Lance

Good luck Lance, I always enjoyed hunting at Lawley when I lived in Alabama, good folks and good hunting.

Is Jeff Tillery still coon hunting? He was from Lawley and I used to draw him a good bit, real nice guy who at the time was hunting a nice Walker female named Sassy.

Does Greensboro still have hunts? That was probably my favorite club to go to.

So far so good.

Maddie won champion female with competition in the show. Toby won his third best male of show with competition of three other dogs. That finishes him to dual champion. Toby also swam two heats in the water race and won first to tree overall. The water race was not ukc but there were 11 dogs entered. Maybe that will wear him down some but it doesn't seen to have changed him. The drive these hounds have is incredible. Let's see where we end up in the end. Lance

Night hunt

We didn't do any good tonight.

On a positive note we guided back to our hunting grounds and treed 4 on the outside and one additional just after time ran out. We have worked very hard to manage our coon and it appears it is starting to pay off.

We had a good time and are ready to get back after it this week.

Next hunt

We have a couple of weeks before the next hunt to get better. We will see if we can just get it all working in the same direction. We will be ready.

We have pups due then so it will be tough to leave then. We are excited about the litter. I'll believe it when we see pups. As we say at the farm, show me the baby.
