Max is a good looking hound. I sure do miss his mother. She got killed by a car a couple of years ago. Maxy was a sweetheart. I hope your doing well.

Thanks Craig. Max does what he is supposed to do most of the time, just like his mother did. She was a joy to own for sure. Just got the side by side and setting things up around the farm to do some hunting and dog training. That UTV sure makes the big country around the house a whole lot smaller and easier to hunt. Hopefully no more 5 mile walks, just ride close as possible on the ridge and then hoof it down to the dogs and back to the UTV.

Ch Nt Ch Douglas' Maxamillion is available for stud. Max is out of Clear River Diamond Jimmy and his mother was a grandaughter of National Grand Night Bluetick Dual Grand Clear River Diamond Jim II who was also out of Jim and Slammer. Maxy, Max's mother, was the 2007 Bluetick Days Queen of Hunt and a full sister to High Scoring BBOA male at the UKC World Hunt, Tangi River Blue Easy II. Max goes hunting, has a real good mouth, good track dog and locator that will stay when hooked. Straight as they come and not an ill hair on him. Just an overall nice hound to hunt. Although the majority of his pups are still young I am getting good reports on what he has produced so far.

Hunted Ranger in his third hunt test last night and he treed two singles and received his third hunt test pass. He has now earned his HTX certification. Proud of the old dog. He may be getting older and slower but he can still get a coon treed in style.

Sherrill Schrimsher made the call today that Dual Grand Clear River Blue Diamond Jimmy HTX2 had to be put to sleep today. Rest in peace Jimmy. He was an outstanding hound. Thanks to Sherrill for the care of Jimmy in his later years.

Talked to Don Barnes this weekend and he has a female out of Jimmy and Snap. He described her actions like a typical Jimmy pup and he has two firsts on her and plans to finish her to Grand Night this year. Jimmy's blood will carry on thru some of his offspring like Don's female and some others.

I get the same thing being from Indiana. Had some people from the "hill country" with me at the winter classic. I had to slow down and wait on them.

Thanks Chris. I get that a lot. I am about as close to West Virginia as I can get and it is just like the northern part of West Virginia here. Climb for 20 minutes just to get 100 yards closer on the Garmin. Haha. Several close relatives to your female on here. Makes it nice when you can take them to the woods and don't have to do tons of training to get them to tree coon.
