Best to ya on the up coming hunts. I hope you win, nice accomplishments in the past yr and before.

I have some females coming in and would love to breed to him, as I think it would be a very good cross. You are quite a hike thou, and I am under contract on building, so not likely it will happen this yr.

How old is Crocket? at some point I may make the drive, I think he would cross very very well with the females I have, and I like his looks.

Took the old fellar out tonight and let him stretch his legs. 1st track he went a little over 700 yards before striking a coon. That coon was a runner and sure was lots of fun listening to the race. Got this one treed over the hill so we drove around. Big den tree lol we kinda figured that coon knew where he was running to. 2nd cut loose he got down the creek almost 800 yards before stricking and run that track another half mile and got treed. We had to drive around again to retrieve him. We finally found his coon and gave him a pat on the head. Called it a night since I have to get started early for work.

Mississippi is where our year started and will end. It will be bitter sweet for me because i'm going to miss hunting this dog but know its time to let him retire and raise pups. he sure is ready for this weekend and i'm looking forward to cutting him loose!
