I'm finally home after a much needed getaway to the sunshine state with the wife. Alittle jet lagged and burnt but ready to hit the timber this week. Sry to those I missed calls from, I'm back in business. We have two top bred, super nice females around 4 months old, different litters, for sale. Also we'll be having a litter off REX & FANCY on the ground soon, if anyone is looking for a nice pup get with me.

Well . . It's time for this pup to start being put up. I got a call yesterday while I was at work that my pup had made it 1.9 miles through the woods to my neighbors house. When I showed up she had the pup tied up and told me she had somethin bayed up in a brush pile and she was scared the pup was gona get stuck up in it lol. THIS PUP IS ONLY 4MONTHS OLD !!

In the last few weeks a lot of people has been calling with coons they'd trapped, so I've been turning some loose behind the house. We decided to show the pup one to see what she thought. First one she barked at, 2nd one we cut loose and let him get gone then cut her, she took off opening on track, went about 30 yards and found him. She wasn't locked down no 120 barks a min but barked enough to let us know she found him.

Needless to say this little pup has got me excited, she may not ever make anything more than just a potlicker, but right now she has all the right actions!!

I really do appreciate the kind words, I'm thankful for all the good people like yourself, these dogs have brought to me to know. It's makes every dime spent, every mile traveled and every tired night all worth it. If Janey is bred again we are thinking Bone, but it will be awhile, she's just goin out of heat now.

Us to Kyle, I've only ever talked to Dave through phone or text, but I can tell you he's good people and straight up. That is one nice pup and is in good hands. Jess is still treeing coon nightly, hopefully I'll get to make it up sometime soon and hunt with you and Dave, and maybe even get to watch ol Jess tree you another one for old time sake.

Every once in a while you meet some class acts with these dirty ole hounds. These guys are a pleasure to deal with and doing things right.
Leaving those pups running loose and all there young hounds kept in the best of health.

Thanks again for making that all work out with the Knoxville hunt .

You guys sure went the extra mile to getting that hound delivered .

I highly recommend these guys for pups or young hounds.

As for Kyle : I don't know anyone who hunts as hard night after night in the worst kinda weather. Anyone getting a hound run by him is getting good value in my opinion.

The hardest thing about raising pups is being lucky enough to get them into good hands. Sometimes they make it and sometimes they don't, but I feel better knowin they got the chance. One of those we're happy to get a pup to was Les Condra. Here's a couple text he sent the other day. On his FEELIN BIG X JANIE pup.

Thanks to all those men out there putting time into pups of crosses we've made, it's greatly appreciated.

Been afew weeks since we hit a hunt so I tried my luck with JAN-IT last night. she did a fine Job and won our cast with 425+,no minus. But got back to the club and it wasn't enough for the win. I'm proud of her anyhow, this pup wants to be alone every time, she can handle all the pressure, you can squall with her being 100 ft away and she won't come in to it, trail right past dogs treed, and the other night pleasure hunting she even held gun pressure. She's no where near perfect but she has some good qualities I like em to have. She recently turned two so we still got plenty of time to get her finished.

Guys I am very happy with my pup from after dark and they are great guys also, my big/Janey pup is not like most 6 month old pups I've fooled with she has no puppy actions in her, she thinks she's grown and acts very mature, I took her last night for her first night out with older dog, I was a tad early and was a lil over hour ride so I got er out of truck and let er run around by truck in corn fields for few minutes but soon as she hit ground she went to pippin her nose checking out all the new scents and got in a drainage ditch and was booger in around in it, I collared the older dog and whistled her in and cast them into the bottoms she went with him like she had always been goin hunting and put in on a hot coon track in mud and swamp, when I got to tree she was there she would get up on tree and tree a second and get down quickly scramble around tree as if trying trail off but would nose back and climb up and tree, u can see the desire to run a track and tree game in this pup

Les that's awesome man and I'm glad that little pup is showing you some promise, I've said it before, half the battle is getting them to good hands. We want you to know we appreciate the time you put in her and giving her the chance. We knew we was taking a chance on breeding to Big because he only had just afew pups on the ground, but every top reproducer was a shot in the dark at one point in time. We were willing to take that chance and so far we are happy with our choice and have got some dang good reports. The day you posted this about your pup I cut a coon loose for mine and she never seen it, done it all with her nose, ran the track wide open and treed the coon about 40yards in the woods. We shined for about 10mins before we finally found him, she even threw a nice locate this time. She's alittle crazy but I'm tickled with mine. These pups are not quite 6months old yet.

Jess was bred to MOJO semen on 6-8-16 by Mr. Dean Beitzel. This cross should produce some superstars. Mojo needs no intro on his reproducing abilities. He will go down as one of the best of my time, like him or not. Jess throws very nice pups also, they look like a hound should, sound like a hound should and start early. We can give references on Jess and her pups, also anyone is welcome to come hunt with Jess until she's heavy with pups. In thick coon she can tree them like popcorn and run a scorecard up (she has several wins scoring over 1,000 +) in thin coon she will have your legs burning and you will find her somewhere under a coon. Jess will be finished to Grnite.

Took my not yet 6month old FEELIN BIG X JANEY pup out at night for the first time with old dogs. First drop she was gone n never came back, she was over 700 yards with another dog and I walked to Janey split so I never heard if she'd opened or not but was at the tree when we got there jumpin and whining. Next drop she was gone again, we'd cut her and two old dogs, one dog was deep runnin a track, other old dog was left handed runnin a track, then boom the pup opens up right handed with a nice loud big bawl mouth. She never offered to leave her track with two others opening, moved it pretty good, one of the old dogs actually ended up over by the pup. Sometimes old dog would be ahead then pup would be, pup stopped n made a few off barks n bam, old dog located n treed. Pups was there treein. They had a litter. She may never make a coon dog but she's got me excited for the time being.

AFTER DARK'S JAN-IT is now qualified for the 2016 World Hunt!!!! Huntin has been slow due to work and camping/fishing and family stuff that's keeps us busy in the summer, but I decided to take Jan-IT to Shelbyville's RQE. Jan-IT scored 375+ no minus, she made 3 trees, 2 coon and a circle tree. She held pressure and done her job, closest thing to her in cast was 175+. Needless to say we are pretty proud of this little pup we raised right here at the house. She just turned 2 afew months back, she been in 11 cast in her life and won 7 of them. It's hard to beat the feeling of seeing a pup that was born here and started and hunted by me and Jacob go out there and win hunts.

We brought the kids down here to Florida for a little down time, been here almost a week and still got about that to go, me and the babaygirl are missin our smelly ol coondogs, We are havin a blast anyhow.

I'm glad to be back and gona be getting Janey and Janit ready for Autumn Oaks and the zones, Also Rex will be back up here in the next week or so to get ready for Oaks.

Kharter decided to help daddy and be Janeys fitness coach for today, she could stand to loose about an inch off her nails and back if she even wants to think about huntin for 2hrs lol. But I can't blame her, we've neither one missed any meals here lately.

Had a good hunt last night with Mike Hardwick. We had 3 pups off Janey on the loose!! Mikes male Joe ( Honey Creek Spider X Janey), Janit ( Sweat IT X Janey) and IZZY ( Feelin Big X Janey). Janit was the oldest Just turnin 2. It was bad hot and muggy and havin to be up early to climb poles at work we only made 2 drops. We treed 3 coon we could see and never had two dogs on the same tree. And my 7month old Feelin Big pup even split off and her treed her very own first possum, I'm proud of my trashy little lady lol. All three have different but HUGE impressive mouths, it was music to my ears to hear these pups that was all born here go out and do what they was bred to do. That's what keeps me goin in this sport!!

Hey Roy, hope all has been good for you and yours. We may have an old hat and shirt for you at a special discounted price lol. Jacob may not be able to make it up with having his young un that weekend, so we should be able talk about him without him being there to hurt his feelings lol. Also he wanted me to take up a collection to get him some new boots while I'm there, he told me his had but in the corner so long and not used that they've dry rotted on him lol.
