I decided to take Reba and Sheba to some flat land last night. I should have stuck to the ridges. I had to walk .9 mi to them and they were in an awful thicket. You would never know that Sheba and Reba's sire were 3/4 brother/sister. I wonder what Boone X Reba pups will look like on a tree?

MAKING PROGRESS

Well I think my bunch is finally making some progress. I was starting to wonder. Monday night we treed two and last night treed two. My Chick and Boone pups are starting to show more. One of them opened on track and treed some before I got to the tree. My Chick and Rocky male is coming on too. He is getting close to being put in a hunt.

Jason, it sure does take a lot of time and effort to start/train/hunt these pups. When those Boone pups get going, you are going to have to start leaving somebody at home or get some help.
I am going to have to quit hunting the Dynamic Duo, Reba and Sheba together. I took them to the Game Preserve last night and all of the gates are locked so there is no driving around. I had to walk 1,000 yds one way to get them on the last drop.

I see where there is going to be a hunt at Burnt Chimney this Sat night. I wonder if there will be any open registered Redbones there? Where is Bond? Will this be Storm's debut? Will Linkous be called upon to handle Rachel again? Is Stella still in heat? Will Shannon be there with his Haze pup? Will Hammerhead be ready for his first hunt by Sat night? Is that too far for Buck to go?

I thought that I had seen it all before last night. Dogs got treed and when I got there they were treed in/on a boat. Someone had abandoned/left it at the back of a field in the edge of a woods. It was still on a trailor. One dog was up in it and the other three were running around it barking.

So, what are the big plans for this weekend? I guess that BB has a 2 night hunt in Franklin. Jason is going to hunt Wilma Sat night. What is everyone else doing?

Ill be hunting but we are short on hunts up here at the moment seems like folks are scared of leafless trees LOL Im gonna have to start traveling soon.

Well, Jason was the only one that showed up at Burnt Chimney last night and he got beat. I guess that Bond, P Mike and Linkous have a little more training to do before they are ready. I don't know what Buck's excuse is/was. Haven't seen/heard anything from BB so I guess that Beamer didn't make Nt Ch this weekend.

I had friend's over to hunt and they did not want to hunt in the hunt last night. We treed two on the creek past Tuck-a-way but before where you turn up to go to the power lines. We went up to where Pastor Mike and I normally turns loose. There were a bunch of people camping on top. I'll be working 3-11 the next two night's but Eric and I will be at it on Wednesday night and Pastor Mike and I on Thursday night. I've been hunting just not in the hunts. Walter did a good job last night treed one by himself. The club I belong to is having 2 or 3 hunts a month all winter but there the other registry. So I may take and get Walters other papers filed this week and see what he can do fri night if I can get the paperwork done. I wouldnt say hes a for sure thing but if he has a good night he has a darn good chance of winning he is ready to give it a try.

Well, after waiting for buck to call so we could hunt tonight, I decided to take haze and Stella for a round for hazes 10th birthday hunt. Ended up treeing two singles on national forest. Got a few pictures and a little video.

It was a fun hunt for the ole boy.
