i think today is the warmest day we gonna get going to get below zero the next 3-4 day's way they talk

Boys just toss another log in the fire and back up to the stove,, it will pass by in a few days , spring is only 4 weeks away . We can tough it out.

We had one more ice storm last night. Several counties under state of emergency here in north Ga. Its bad. Trees down all over the place. A big limb fell on one of my dog pens. Pen was empty though. Havent checked our fence but I know its down. I was outside last night and it sounded like a war in the woods. Trees falling and limbs falling. Could hear transformers blowing up all over. None has melted today and the winds are picking up. Supposes to blow 25mph tomorrow. So more and more trees will be down. These weather men here aint worth a darn. They cant even tell what its doing while its doing it lol.

I saw this on the news and the weather channel Ga Dawg. Like you said it sounds a big gunfight/war in the timber bustin and poppin , We had a big one back in WVa about 01 or 02 ,I was without power for 8 days I think ,lost all my frozen foods and I ate out of canned food all that time . Got tired of Spam sandwiches and cans of baked beans .

hb I burn it and you wouldn't believe how much I burn my stove is a 900,000 btu door is 50 x 50 it will take a 7ft piece of wood corner to corner 6ft straight in I estimate a 100 face cord a year but back when I raised calves we burnt 100 full cords every winter I just bartered 2 tri axle loads for 40 round bales and a running gear from a old 3000 gal. tanker that I scrapped cold here this morning -5 spring can't come soon enough for me !

it sure sounds like winter is hitting hard anywhere east of the big river..hate those ice storms....talked to a buddy out in Washington state where I elk hunted years ago..he said they are in a heat wave..temps. out there are 20 to 30 degrees above average...yesterday afternoon he said it was 66 degrees....

About 2 more months of reading hillbilly and can hang out my shingle and start practicing doctoring . I will need another 2 weeks reading to be a brain surgeon ,lol
