Only when I wasn't in the cab of the truck w/ warm heat I did see 3 deer on the way home tonight in a bean stubble field, don't know how they stood that bitin' cold wind.Hey anybody around home here startin' 3-2-15 the state is closin' route 133 river bridge, say their gonna put in a new bridge, suppose ta be closed for 8 months,I'll believe that when I see it.
Me too TD.they were going to do that 10 yrs.ago...supposed to put in a boat ramp there when they get the bridge done.

i sure hated this kinda weather when i was on the road i pulled flatbed all time it was ruff in the winter chain and unchain in all the cold after being in a warm truck for hrs but i don't miss it
They got a big flashin' sign up so their gonna do it but ain't heard anything about a boat ramp, skate board's what I pulled to,when I wasn't haulin' new trailers, worst part for me was them tarps in the wind,1st thing I'd do was look for a wind block, remember 1 time went towards the windy Mokena if I'm right it was as cold as now if not worse,me & another guy he had to drop in Wheaton, when we took off the tarps they were so cold they stood up stiff like a tent, told him we should leave 'em for the homeless,it took both of us to do each others loads.

Hauled lumber from the docks in windsor, canada to the lumber yards in kentucky then we would dead head to cinncinatti area to haul steel coils back to the auto companies in detroit and flint. Never took a lumber load we had to tarp. lol
