Whos First ?

Good Mornin Im askin one simple question today Its very easy to answer, for us all. its a question that will make us all stop and think about things,This old world is getin worse as each day pass's you see its falling apart everyday. Though ,I dont know the time or day but CHRIST is coming back soon and I wana do everything that I can do to get as many a person that I can to be ready when he does, Lets get to todays message, Make me know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. - (Psalm 25:4)

Much of your life—whether it shows up in successes or failures—will be determined by your priorities. What you put first in your thoughts, desires, and choices will affect the fruit or consequences you then face.

Jesus spoke about our priorities in the longest sermon He ever preached while on earth. This sermon is recorded in Scripture and is called the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus’ sermon takes up three full chapters (Matthew 5–7) in the Bible. That’s a long sermon.

His message is addressed to believers—originally to His disciples. And it is primarily a sermon about the kingdom whose centerpiece revolves around one verse.

In fact, this one verse is the centerpiece of kingdom living altogether. We read, “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

The word that I want to focus on from this passage is the word first, because it is the diminishing of the value of this word that has led to the diminishing of the experience of God in many of our lives.

To live life to its fullest and to accomplish and experience all that God has created you to do, God and His kingdom must be first. God is not to be one among many—He is to be first.

The problem in most of our lives today is that God is merely in the vicinity; He is not first. I often hear people tell me that they just don’t have enough time for God, which means that they are really telling me God is not first place in their lives. This is because a person will always make time for what is first, for what matters most.

What does it mean for God to be first in our lives? What does it look like for God to be first? Where does God come in second (or later) in your life . . . and how can you put Him back in first place?
First. That’s where You belong. That’s where You deserve to be in my life, Lord. First. Forgive me for not always putting You first. But I will try to do so, starting now. Romans 14:7-12

In the New Testament, Lord is the most frequently used title for Jesus Christ. Although we rarely use this term in our daily lives, we are all quite familiar with another word: boss. That is basically what Lord means—one possessing authority, power, and control. The Word of God describes Jesus as the head of the church, the ruler over all creation, and the Lord of lords and King of kings (Col. 1:15-18; Rev. 3:14; 17:14).

The realm of Christ's reign covers everything that happens in heaven and on the earth. No one—not even those who deny His existence—can be free of His rule or outside His sphere of authority. Although Satan tries to convince us that liberty is found in doing what we want, true freedom is acquired only through submission to Christ's loving lordship.

Even death cannot release anyone from the authority of God's Son. He is Lord of both the living and the dead. All people must decide to either yield or rebel against Him, but they have the opportunity to make this choice only while they are still living walking this earth. After death, they will acknowledge Christ's lordship through accountability to Him. If we have not bowed the knee to Jesus in life, we will be forced to bend it in the judgment because thats somethin will all are gona do and thats standing face to face to the LORD..

Have you submitted to Christ's rule over your life? His authority causes anger or fear in individuals who have not yet yielded to Him, but those who have experienced His lovingkindness, trusted in His goodness, and surrendered to His authority take comfort in knowing Him as the Lord of their lives. There are three words that came together at Calvary:

justice
mercy
grace

Justice is getting what we deserve. Mercy is not getting what we deserve. Grace is getting what we don’t deserve.

But wait a minute; grace is more than that! It is grace that gives at great cost to the giver. It is not cheap. Grace cost the life of God’s Son. Jesus gave freely of Himself in agony and blood.

Did you know that grace has to chase us down? If God didn’t run faster than us, we would never be saved! Grace seeks to give to vile and wicked people that which they don’t deserve and can never deserve.

Are you a grace-giver? Find someone today and do a favor for them – something for which they couldn’t possibly repay you. Perhaps it will even be for a stranger you will never see again. Matthew 7:13-14

Have you ever been accused of being a narrow-minded Christian? Those who level such accusations against us certainly mean it as an insult. According to Jesus, however, that’s the only way to walk if we want to experience abundant life now and eternal life with Him in heaven. But it will require a deliberate choice on our part, because no one automatically drifts onto this pathway.

The broad way is easy to find. In fact, unless you make a conscious choice to avoid it, you’ll find yourself on it. Most people like this wide path because it encompasses all philosophies and belief systems. Everything is acceptable, and everyone’s “truth” is valid. It even seems like the loving path because no one is left out. There are no restrictions, and freedom is unlimited. Or is it?

What those who travel this road fail to realize is that it’s a downward descent into destruction. All the promises it gives of satisfaction and fulfillment end in disappointment because it’s a path without God. But those who enter by the narrow gate of faith in Christ find the peace and joy of a relationship with Him that satisfies the heart. The gate is small because truth guards the entrance. The way is narrow because the Lord protects us with wise boundaries.

Which path are you traveling? You can’t have one foot on each, because they’re going in opposite directions. When you tolerate everything, you’re headed for destruction. But when you choose the narrow way, your life truly begins. You’ll walk with Christ day by day until He walks you home to heaven. Is there someone in your life whose opinion matters deeply to you? Instead of defining who you are by their opinions, measure yourself by God’s standard in His Word. The Misunderstood Principle Of Submission

Good Mornin ! Saturdays are days to get things done. Ya Know ,,,Those little hunnydo things. It seems like every weekend I can never get them caught up,When I do theres a new hunnydo thing to do.But I dont mind doin things for my hunny cause she doesnt mind me sittin in a goosepit all day, or a deer stand ,or out till late hours with my hounds,,She is so understanding,,Karen is one of those good gifts that the good LORD blessed me with and I love her so much. Lets get on to todays message before she finds some else for me to do...he Misunderstood Principle of Submission

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.” - 1 John 5:3

Submission is a term that has been grievously distorted because there are men who have used the word as a weapon to club their wives rather than as a hammer to build their homes.

When God tells a wife to submit to her husband, He also tells the husband to love his wife “even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it” (Ephesians 5:22-25).

When God tells children to obey their parents, He also instructs the fathers to “provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).

When God tells you to submit to Him, it is for your good (James 4:7). Jesus is the head of the church, and He leads by love. The same should be true in the home.

I read about a man who was visiting Israel some time ago, and he came upon a Bedouin shepherd out in the desert. He struck up a conversation with him, which led to talking with him about Jesus Christ. So he shared the Gospel.

At some point during the conversation, the Bedouin said, “I see… you’re keeping yourself from committing the sin of the desert.”

“What’s the sin of the desert?” The visiting man replied.

“The sin of the desert is the sin of silence. It’s knowing where there is water and not telling anyone else where it is!”

When it comes to salvation in Jesus Christ, this is where so many Christians fall into the trap of lying… by knowing where life can be found yet choosing to remain silent. They don’t tell others that they can be saved through Jesus Christ! Its pretty easy to tell others about the LORD.If ya do it just one time It will come natural to tell and talk about CHRIST to others. Be most careful of this cowardly lie. Don’t allow your friends and loved ones to enter eternity without hearing of the saving power of faith in Jesus Christ!

They know that their Dad/Grampa is imperfect. They know that I love God. I wouldn’t be ashamed for you to ask them that. You can ask any one of them, “What’s the most important thing to your Dad/Grandpa and Mom?” They would say, “The most important thing to our Dad/Grampa and Grandma is their relationship with God.”

Are you a Mom,Dad,Grampa or Gradma ? Then ask your children what they think the most important thing is to you. I want to make a difference in someone's life today........ I figure my very best shot at that is once again proclaiming the truth found written in the Holy Bible. I like to refer to the TRUTH as the words written in red..... Your salvation is free for the asking but the Lord promises that he will stand at your door and knock and it is up to you to answer it. I strongly encourage you to answer your spiritual door today and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. He died on the cross for your sins and mine and paid the price with his blood...... thru which we can be set eternally free!!! Glory to his name! My prayer this morning is that God truly blesses someone thru this message. Amen.

Hey All ! Spring is on the way! Just think like this,,In July its gona be warm and we will of forgot all about these cold days in February. Lets move on to todays message.. To Tell the Truth

“Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.” - Ephesians 4:25

When I was in high school one night after a football game as I was driving back home, I realized one of my headlights was out. I was hoping I wouldn’t get stopped when a highway patrolman pulled me over.

He said, “Son, did you know one of your headlights is out?” I replied, “One of my headlights is out?” He said, “Son, you’d better get that fixed.” I said, “Yes, sir.”

When I got back in the car, the Holy Spirit said,Ron you lied.” I said, “No, I didn’t lie. I told the truth.” He said, “You lied.”

If there is any area in your heart that is not based on truth, you’ve made the devil a home.

I want you to play a game of catch today, but this will only involve one person – you! When temptation urges you to lie, catch yourself and tell the truth. A lie is a lie is a lie. No matter if its a little white lie. Everyone is guilty of lieing,Calling off work sick when your not, Answering the phone and saying no ,Moms not here when she tells ya to say it. Telling someone no I cant go with you I have somethin goin on just because ya dont wana go... Ya see what Im talkin about ?
