Anytime

anyone wants to see how good of hounds either RED or MAX is come on by for a hunt. We would be glad to show them any time! These hounds are no fly by night or average or below average hounds. These hounds are the results of years of good breeding and Red has every top characteristic we need in the breed. He is not perfect but he`s got everything anyone could want in a coonhound! He is Loud, quick, a fast track dog, big bawl mouth on track. He also has a beautiful locate and tree`s hard hard hard. Is extremely accurate (he will not tree on a slick or back a dog slick treeing, but will go on and get treed). Also he is dark red and good looking. But more than anything else he is proving to be a really really good reproducer!

I think the MAX dog might fall under the super cross category as he looks right now he may be a better competition dog than RED. Time will tell!! We should have 3 litters on the ground in the next 2 months!!Thanks for reading, John

Bill Lash a while ago and he also has a nice female out of RED and Daisy. He said she pretty exciting to listen to and can tree a coon, she is just a little over a year!!!

Breeze

John, Breeze cut her pad pretty bad Saturday nite and is out of commission for a couple weeks,she has treed with my old female and with Ruger, I just started hunting her by herself and this happens . She likes to get in there and get struck, sometimes its not what it is supposed to be and we are working on that, I think she is going to be independent, starting to loose her puppy mouth, with a little luck you will see her in the spring. I have high hopes for her, she is smart and is full of fire.

Deposits on puppies

I have decided from here forward that deposits on puppies are non-refundable. If you book a pup off a certain female and change your mind, thats what a deposit is for. If the female does not catch we will either have you down for the next time she is bred or will get you a pup off another top female. We have been breeding RED to only really nice females. And he is going to get lots of action on breeding good females in the near future as well. $50 will reserve you a pup of any cross. Thanks John

Hey, John. Maggie is in heat now and will need to be bred on Wed. I have decided that I'd like to breed her to Red if your interested. Maggie just turned 3 over the summer and has never been bred before, but I'm pretty confident she should be a good reproducer just like the dogs she's out of. I think Mag and Red should cross well with traits that should compliment each other and also look good on paper. This is what Mag's ped looks like.

Yeah. That would be great, John. These pups should be nice. Maggie is a VERY QUICK, TREE DOG. She is very accurate as well. A little slower then I'd like getting struck. She can work an old track, but won't open on it till she starts to line it out. 3rd or 4th strike dog in good company, but if she's hunting against dogs that are tight on the ground she'll get some 1sts. She won in the hunts as much as she did by being fast on a track and quick to get treed with the meat. She can get her share of 1st trees against any company. Loves to get split, when she can, and is pull proof. She is $KC reg as well and will be put in some of those hunts next year.
