Be Angry And Sin Not

Its Friday,Its Friday! So lets not talk much and get goin and get this day over so we can enjoy the weekend.But dont be in such a hurry that ya dont tell someone about Our LORD JESUS CHRIST Be Angry and Sin Not

“Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” - Ephesians 4:26

God’s Word tells us to be “slow to wrath” (Proverbs 14:29, James 1:19). There’s nothing that will do more damage to your relationships than unwanted, unwarranted anger. If you are given to anger, let me tell you a couple of things the Bible says, and it won’t be flattering.

First, the Bible says you are foolish. Ecclesiastes 7:9 says, “For anger resteth in the bosom of fools.”

Second, you have a weak character. Proverbs 16:32 says, “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” Uncontrolled anger is like throwing a rock into a wasp nest.

Do you have a short fuse? If so, confess it to the Lord. Don’t let Satan get a stronghold in your life. A man was in the back bedroom of his home getting dressed while his wife was in the living room talking to a friend. He called out to his wife, “Darling, is this shirt clean enough for me to wear?”

Without hesitation she said, “No.”

He said, “How did you know it wasn’t clean enough to wear? You didn’t even come back to look at it.”

She answered, “If you had to ask, it wasn’t clean enough!”

When it comes to the question of whether you should do something or not, if it’s doubtful, it’s dirty. Don’t. Unfortunately, most of us don’t give God the benefit of the doubt. We just go ahead and do it.

Are you in doubt about something today? I was talking to a man who sold real estate and asked him, “What determines the worth of a piece of property?”

He said, “What a person is willing to pay for it.”

In other words, it doesn’t matter how much you paid for it yourself. It’s what another person is willing to pay to have it for himself or herself.

That makes me want to shout! You and I must be worth something if Jesus would pay His life to have us for His own. Jesus is the proof of how much we’re worth.

Do you know how much you weigh? Call a jeweler or a bank today and ask how much your weight is worth in gold. Then realize there’s no comparison to your worth in blood…the blood of Jesus Christ. Be Still and Know That He Is God

Hello Everyone! Isnt it nice to know that GOD is with us at all times every where we go,Knowin that just takes a lot of stress off our day. Lets go to todays message.. Be Still and Know that He Is God

I read in the newspaper about a fighter plane that fired off a weapon and was moving so fast that it overtook the bullet and shot itself down. Literally! There are a lot of folks I know doing the same thing. They are shooting themselves down.

They don’t take time to slow down and to be still and know that God is God. They don’t take time to experience His serenity and inner quietness. Isaiah 30:15 says, “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”

How much time do we take to be quiet before the Lord? If you don’t have time to do this, you are too busy! You are going to miss life looking for it. However, I know this: God is my God for ever and ever; he will be my guide to the end.

I watch many depend on God during difficult times of health. How will I handle illness in my life or in my family? I’m not sure, but I know this: God is my God for ever and ever; he will be my guide to the end.

The financial markets are up and down. How will they change over the next years? I am not sure what my retirement package will be worth, but this I know: God is my God for ever and ever; he will be my guide to the end.

A 95-year-old friend told me as he sat next to his wife in a nursing home, “Growing old isn’t for sissies!” If God gives me a long life, how will I handle all the issues that go with aging? I’m not sure, but I know this: God is my God for ever and ever; he will be my guide to the end.

I know that I will die. Will it be suddenly or through a long process? Will the process be painful? Will I be at peace? Will I face death with anxiety? I am not sure, but I know this: God is my God for ever and ever; he will be my guide to the end.

Father, you are my God, and you will be my God forever. Thank you for your unfailing love. I don’t know what life holds, but I thank you for the promise that you will be by my side guiding me all the way to the end. In Jesus’ name. Amen. MIRICALES

Good Afternoon. I have been asked if Jesus still works miricales today just like he did during his time on earth many years ago...My answer is yes , Yes he does. With that being said .There is a certain miricale that he does pretty regurarly here on earth in this day and age most dailey. Im gona tell you how to experence that miricale you have to want a miricale believe and trust that he will give you one.If you need proof here it is...If you would sincerly and truly believe and trust what Jesus says and does from the BIBLE,You will see this Miricale before your very eyes.If you are wanting to be a Christian and want to spend eternity in Heaven with CHRIST and are still not convinced that you want to,,Ask Jesus to come into your life and be your savior and trust and believe that he died and rose again 3 days later for all of our sins .Past,Present and Future and you will experence a miricale because you will be changed ,you will be a new person in CHRIST Just think a new you !within a week you will see changes that you would of thought that could never happen,,,Happen What a miricale!.Give CHRIST a chance to show you...God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayer for you all

What Is Justification?

Hello Everyone ! God is good !He has given us a new day.A day that we can tell others just how good he is ! It only takes a few minutes to do that. So if you pass someone in the store ,or gas station ,at work,Just Say { " Do you know that GOD LOVES YOU " } its just that simple.You might be surprized what that little sentence might lead to...Lets get on to to days message What Is Justification?

“…and whom He justified, them He also glorified.” - Romans 8:30

What does it mean to be justified? It means to be declared righteous.

Justification is not being good, though being good gives God glory. When you put your faith where God put your sins—on the Lord Jesus Christ—then God stamps “righteous” over your name in His “Book of Life.”

It’s not because of what you have done or ever can do, but because of His justification.

No court on earth can justify anybody. But what God does is take a guilty person and not only give that guilty person a pardon, but He makes that guilty person just as if he had never sinned. That’s justification.

If you lived every moment believing in the justification that God has given you, how would your faith be strengthened? Would you be more vocal about the gift of God’s love? WOW !!!! Living By Promises Not Explainations

Hey All ! The sun is shinin but its a little cold. There callin for a couple inchs of snow again tonight .I know the snow and cold is gona stop and its gona get warm in about 2 more months.So for now enjoy this nice winter weather.Lets get to todays message ,May it touch you in some way... According to an article that I read, Henry Ford one of the first car dealers asked some engineers and workers to box the transmissions for his Model-T Fords in certain sized boxes. He gave meticulous dimensions and material instructions for these boxes. The builders were confused, but they did as they were told.

When the transmissions were delivered, the factory workers took apart the boxes and used them for the floorboards! Mr. Ford was thinking ahead!Now that was a very smart thing to do...

That’s what God does. He knows what we need even before we ask Him. We may not understand all of His ways, just like those workers who were boxing up the transmissions did not understand.

We do not live by our understanding; we live by His promises.

Is there something happening in your life right now that you don’t understand? Read Proverbs 3:5-6 and trust in the promise that He will direct your path. Ya know,,the old cars of the40 's 50's60 's were built strong,they were heavy and well built.They didnt fall apart or rust out like the new cars and trucks of today that make it to the scrap yard pretty quick. We,You and I are sorta like those old cars of the 40"s,50 's,and 60's we grow old,We sorta wear out, Things go wrong,,But ya know what ????? We are never sent to the scrap yard. If we have JESUS CHRIST in our lives.He will fix us part by part and make us new again ,He changes us little by little makin us better while were here on earth..Then when he comes and takes us home to HEAVEN we are changed to a Rolls Royce, or BMW,or Cadillaic,.As big a sinner as I am ,,I will be happy just to be a FORD FOCUS or even a SMART CAR...{ LOL },God Loves Ya All,,,I Love You All,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... What if you had an appointment with the doctor and found out that you had cancer? Maybe you have heard this news or heard it on behalf of a loved one. I want to tell you some things cancer cannot do. Cancer cannot shatter hope. Cancer cannot corrode faith. Cancer cannot eat away peace. Cancer cannot place a limit on eternal life. Cancer cannot quench the spirit of God and cancer cannot lessen the power of the resurrection. That’s how limited cancer is!

Is there someone in your life that is suffering from cancer? Give them the Good News that you’ve read today. And pray that they will know the Savior. Have you ever thought that if you lived according to God’s laws, you were going to miss out? Truth is, if you don’t live according to God’s laws you’re going to miss out! God’s laws are for your welfare.

God is not a tyrant in heaven making a bunch of laws to make you squirm like a worm in hot ashes as you try to keep those laws. God loves you. Every time God says “Thou shalt not,” God is simply saying, “Don’t hurt yourself.” And every time God says, “Thou shalt,” God is saying, “Help yourself to happiness.” God has something so wonderful for you.

Write the following down on some sticky notes and post them everywhere … “God loves me.”

The Book That Reads You

Hello All ! Its suppose to be a nice day today,Warmer weather all week. Winters over right ? We will see..Lets get on to the message for today. The Book That Reads You

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!” - Romans 11:33

We must guard ourselves against lowering the standard of God’s Word to our level of understanding or political correctness. And we must guard ourselves against raising the standards of our traditions above the standard of His Word. The Bible is not meant to be paraded past the judgment bar of your mind. You can argue with it, but why?

You can pick up any other book and read it, but this is the book that reads you. It pulsates with life and power. It cuts, burns, crushes, and wields mountain-moving power. His Word has a life of its own. It is the voice of God to you. You cannot refuse it, deny it, distort it, or dilute it. You can only bow before it. Read a few verses and you can hear that BIBLES heartbeat Theres lots of the WORD that I dont have the wisdom enough to understand.But I keep reading I really think theres stuff in the BIBLE that our LORD JESUS doesnt want us to understand ,,But One day,,When we get to heaven we will

When was the last time you studied the history behind the Word of God? Go to a bookstore or your church’s library and study how the translations were discovered and passed on. Fear The Lord

Hello All,,,,,, Im goin to get right to todays message Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones. - Proverbs 3:7-8

Every person in covenant with God through Jesus Christ will be healed, sometimes in this life, for certain in the eternal. Reverential fear of the Lord and turning away from evil are two essentials for healthy living in the here and now. When you reverence God, you respect what He has made—beginning with your own body. As you turn away from evil, you also turn your back on its byproducts, including unhealthy habits that eat away at your vitality. For some, the ultimate description of exhaustion is “bone-weary.” God promises that in Him there is such refreshing it overcomes tiredness in the extreme. Get refreshed ! GOT JESUS ?
