Nice bird dawg,dang chilly out this mornin',went & got me some hay yesterday,that wind was just right ta put a chill on ya ..... but next week {they say}

sure will be glad when this week is over.with the mother in law down with two blockages in her leg and my hunting and fishing buddy came home Tues. after work to find his wife dead on the floor and the oldest daughter may have to have her gall bladder out really soon its been a bitch of a week..almost scared when my phone rings..whats next....

Dang hate to here that Rex. That aint no good at all but they say bad luck or bad things happening comes in 3's. So Hopefully you'll be without any rough stuff for a while!!!

thanks men..nice bird there GA.our season starts in a little over 2 weeks.....aint been out scouting yet. hope some made it through the winter and the bobcats didn't get the rest....

stil on the chilly side finaly got up to 37 but got a light wind that alittle nippy wife wanted me to ride to the walmart with her next thing i know she done made a wrong turn end up at the pool place before she got outa there done went and bought a dang new pool then we got to go to the walmart i ain't seen any turkeys as of yet on our place grandson said he's gonna start the deer feeder up feed al summer he brought a ton of corn put it in my building 2 wks ago

I figured out how to make my pictures littler. Its cool here today also. Turkeys didnt make a peep this morning. Was huntin las night and a surprized thunder boomer hit me an little outlaw. Bout skeerd me to death lol. We got the heck outta dodge.

I read that in the paper at work today about hodog's wife,shocked me ole Charlie will be lost for a while now.

Just about all the snow we got last night has melted off around here . But the weatherman is calling for a mixed bag this weekend .

29 here with some wind makes it feel pretty cold got some fluuries bloein around top of the wifes car is covered not suppose to get nothing but flurries they say probly a inch in the mountians

Good mornin',so far it's just 31,can only hope for it ta go up.

Winter is back in north Ga. Feels more like deer season than turkey. Supposed to be 23 tonight. That aint good. All the trees done budded out and lots have leaves already. I guess it will kill em. I hope it dont kill all the acorns. That will bad from a hunters perspective.

Dawg if it freezes and kills off your mast crop , you'll see one of those BIG squirrel migrations . I've only seen 2 of them in my lifetime .

afternoon it was 19 here this moroning and windchill was 9 if i rember right oldest boy came down we cut my rabbit thicket out dang it was cold it's still only 29 with a 19 degree windchill

iam pretty well surrounded by woods...early this morning I had 14 squirrels in my yard..all greys..i can go back in the woods and see fox squirrels but seldom in the yard.....

I use to be like that untill the great squirrel migration of 2012 I guess it was. Maybe 2013. Maybe all mine that didnt get run over came up there. I dont have fox squirrel here. To hilly for em I guess

I've seen more squirrels now than back in Aug,little rascals hid real good when the leaves fell off,got plenty for comin' season if nothin' happens to 'em. Went & got the girls a new romance friend today,the guy I got him from said he threw lots of twins & triples.

He's a pure bred boer w/o papers....& a big set of horns which I don't care for,he got his head stuck in the chute when I ran him threw it to worm & trim his feet.
