I hunted tonight with David Morlan and Ben Fletcher. They brought a nitech english male named Gambler. We had a great time. Toby and Gambler looked good tonight. Toby is starting to come around. I am really pleased with him.

Hi Guys

Timmy talked to Hutch and looks like Jazz is comming to Alabama.
If everything works out Torch will be comming to Kansas. Excited about some Whacker and Jazz blood here.

Hated to hear about Hutch having to have his back whacked on. But I know a lot of people that came out of it with flying colors.

Still don't know about the NtCh female yet. Just hasn't come through yet.

I cant remember the date, but Im sure thinking about it..There is a rqe there and Good Springs, Al I think, but Im not sure where that is...I would sure like to get him qualified cause the semifinals for our zone is up that way and the Championship is in Shreveport,La...good time for somebody in the south to rise..lol

Good luck. We plan on getting qualified. We are just trying to do a few minor adjustments. The hounds are really coming along. The hounds have no shortage of brains. I worry about myself sometimes.

Jazz

I just got off the phone with Hutch and Jazz is coming in heat. He will breed her to Grandnitech Mad Dog Frank Jr. He is all coondog and was hunt king in zone 1. He is also a littermate to Grandnitech Mad Dog Spice II. Spice passed away recently before we could get pups out of her. Tyler is excited that there could be pups so closely related to Spice. The only problem is he and his friends will want to keep them all. Lol. Jazz will be coming to Alabama after she is bred. I have had allot of interest in Jazz pups so all our friends need to let me know early if you want one please. We are really excited about the pups and interest.

Clyde I will post some of Frank Jr's competition hunt accomplishments later when I have time to reresearch it. It's been a few years since I noticed him in the bluebooks. I do remember he was hunted by Art Lee and had allot of win pictures in multiple books. Thanks.

I know Frank Jr was king of zone 1 back to back in 2006 and 2007 and I think he made it to the top 100 in the world hunt twice.

Ryan, the Hunt King and Queen in zone 1 is similar to our zone's the dog of the year. I also saw where he was the 2007 BBOA zone 1 Marshall MO Event overall high scoring dog. In 2006 at the BBOA Kaskaskia Illinois Event he was the King of hunt. It also looks like he got several UKC nitech and registered title wins at other BBOA events. I know Art said he was world qualified several times. I was just trying to share information with some of my friends down here who were not familiar with him. Wasn't he in a litter that produced 3 dogs and two of them made grandnitech?

I hate to get technical but I think there were 11 pups but they all died except those 3. I think they all got parvo. The 3 that lived were Frank Jr,Spice II and Squeeker. The reason she didn't make it is because she lost her voice fighting parvo too. all she could do was squeek,hence the name.
