He�s training a litter of pups with a coon hide. I know this photo doesn�t look like much to most people� but to me this brings on a flood of great memories.

This is a scan of Sue�s pedigree papers.

I hope you are able to read this article.. I don�t want this keepsake to be lost or forgotten. I hope my sisters and other family members have enjoyed these treasures from grandma�s truck.

This is something else !!! to find a pedigree that goes back to Maggards blood. Franklins Sue grandsire is Maggards Hot Shot and was owned by an old man from my neck of the woods by name of Rex Maggard . He was quite a character from all the stories ive heard .

Owned by Russ Jones. Russ is like my big brother and got me started in English over 15 years ago. Still hunting a few watered down Rosie pups these days.
Rosie placed 4th in 1998 Ukc World and 13th in 2000. Bred to Rowdy which created Barber Creek Ace (Ace ad pic posted on this forum several pages back). Ace made top 20 not long after that as well. Ace was bred to a local female which created a female I started named Grace. I sold her to Jim Snell ( regreted it ever since) Jim done her justice though with alot of winning with Grace both in ukc & pk$. she died at his place. Jim, thanks for keeping her and giving her your all ! I am currently hunting a couple grand females off Ace. Rosie also produced Dark time Danny Boy whom also placed in the top 20 of UKC world the same year of 2000 making English history ( see full story 2000 eng issue). Rosie threw alot of good uns thats for sure ! This line of dog are winners and reproduce ! Rosie is one of many females who made a great impact on this breed and deserve to be in the Hall of Fame but has somehow never been nominated.

This was an ad Joe Summers ran Sept 2004 American Cooner on my Rusty dog and Perry's Copper dog out of Ruger. Both Bawlie and Ruger had passed at an early age. Rusty was 11 at the time of the add. I hope you can see his pedigree. He was BlueBoy II "JR" bred top and bottom with a touch of Platte Valley fairly close. We did not get a single call on Rusty. Just wonder if there would be any interest in semen if I had him collected way back yonder. He was not Famous, he did qualify for the UKC world in 99, big booming bawl mouth track, long bawl locate and a ringing chop that could be heard a great distance. He was purty easy on the eyes as well.
